To keep those of you who may have ordered shot glass sets abreast, in case you aren't following the Kickstarter Updates, they have not shipped yet in spite of our May/June estimate. The new shipping estimate is September.

I'm deeply sorry about that. But I will say in my defense, and about everyone else we've been working with on this, these are unprecedented times. There's nothing we can do to work our way around this, and we couldn't predict this exact scenario going into it. It's true manufacturers and printers were all running behind because of the interruptions caused by Covid lockdowns, and that much was understood. It's also true there was a lumber shortage. Fandomoid had the foresight to instruct our manufacturer to start hoarding wood for us early on. But now we have a different issue created by the cascading effects of Covid: a worldwide shortage of shipping containers. To be clear, this affects every production-to-distro-to-retail line everywhere. We are just one small party subject to it too, and all we can do is wait in line at the docks.

I just wanted to let you know that your shot glass sets exist. They aren't a scam of some sort. We put so much work into getting them right. They've just gone through a series of lead and (ironically) formaldehyde testing to meet with FDA standards and to make sure they'll get through customs without any additional holdups. They're being wrapped in some nice vellum and gold packaging, but...they're sitting overseas until we are able to get them into a container and onto a boat. =/

If you have questions, ask them. If you need to cancel an order, you can reach IronCircus through the contact form on their website. If you have any trouble doing that, let me know.

There has to be a curse on these poor shotglass sets.

I ordered an e-bike back in March, didn't get it until the last day of June. Shipping is fugged right now. One tip: UPS is less congested than FedEx.

As someone working in the manufacturing industry, I completely understand that everything is effed right now. I look forward to getting my set.
