So, I've got an eye on reprinting the Lackadaisy book volumes eventually through Iron Circus Comics. They are curious about the viability of producing character plushies to go along with the books, but before we embark on the tricky process of prototyping something, we thought it'd be best to gauge interest in general - would you want one? - and if so, which character(s)?

To that end, we've set up a simple poll at the link below to try to gather that information. If you have any thoughts, your input would be much appreciated!

**PLUSH POLL**

(Art here doesn't represent any actual product, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to post it. Anyway, we'll try not to sell anything in the future with quite this much glass and barbed wire poking out of it. Art courtesy of Fable, poll by Newt!)

plushies are my favorite form of merch 😭💕 I'd definitely want rocky!!! depending on how expensive and what art style they are in plush form I might also get viktor, freckle and/or ivy

Garrett Simpson

Oh that gag art is great!! If you only made him a little thorny I'm sure that Mordecai would be popular, hehe! Other than that, Freckle and Ivy would be fabulous!

Minzoku Bokumetsu

I note that Mordecai is listed first in the poll, even before Rocky... why even ask if you already know the answer ;p

I would buy a Freckles plushy in a HEARTBEAT

Important Question: Will a hypothetical Mordecai plush include a gun?

Clearly (in response to the above comment) the only acceptable Mordecai plushie is one that comes with a functional miniaturized gun. And the Viktor plushie should come with a complementary crowbar. (I jest, I jest... sort of)

Who's a fuzzy little psychopath? Is it you? Yes it is! Mmmmwa!

I'm much more interested in the book reprint than the plushies, personally. If you do it, would you do a Kickstarter? Would you match the dimensions of the volumes? Would there be international shipping that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

lackadaisy

Yes. Plans are still tentative, but we're looking at doing a Kickstarter for the book reprints sometime next year. The books would be printed in the same dimensions. They'll match up in size to the art book too. We've been considering making a sleeve to house them (and the eventual 3rd comic volume). For international orders - I don't know. It depends on whether or not we can secure distribution overseas. It just isn't always an easy or economical thing to find when you're a small/indie press type. It can leave you either at the mercy of the proposed distributor or otherwise at the mercy of international shipping costs. With regard to the latter, we unfortunately have no control over it whatsoever.

That's exciting news! I'll have to back the next Kickstarter too, then!

Of course, I would want a plush! I mean who wouldn't.

I'd honestly buy most of the characters. A set, or series of sets, of them all in a smaller 4-6" format would be great (and probably a little easier to afford >.>).
