This is a discussion and Q&A Fable and I held with the animation team on the Lackadaisy short film in June (edited to cut out detritus). A few people have told me that they couldn't make it to the live event but still wanted to see the session, so I figured I'd share, in case it's of any interest!

Basically, it's a primer on techniques and rules for drawing the characters, their clothes, shoes, hands, tails, expressions and gestures for the purposes of the film. We also discuss overall goals and approach for the animation style.

There are titles included at the top left so you can scrub through to parts you may be interested in without having to watch the entire thing. (The screen shifting focus stops after a couple of minutes - apologies for that.)
