The $500 was a water mark that I didn't think I would ever achieve. I figured with backing around there, I could realistically look at computers in the $2-3k range, which is what I'd need to be able to do larger sets and potentially animation. However, what I didn't account for or know, is that 1) patreon takes out a chunk, and 2) lots of people sign up with fake info. there are a lot of invalid transactions every month. So that $500 on the sidebar there is actually closer to $300-$400, depending on the month.

However, I've got my sights set on the computer that was linked in the previous thread, and will be 1/3 the way there after this month. Given that I will also be using it for personal stuff, patreon will only be responsible for some percentage. Haven't figured out all the timing or details, but hoping to do that soon
