I know everything I've shown until this point has been crappy placeholder art. Well that changes today! Come find out all that I've been working on and purchasing with your support!

I have hired an art team for the standing images and work has started! It is coming along quickly so far but there will be months and thousands of USD of art assets to make!

I have purchased 6-7 environment tile sets to make the worlds and levels! The gif of the editor is me learning "Tiled" for the last 2 weeks and using my paid assets. This is yet another new program that I've been in tutorial after tutorial and will take me a long time to get used to.

I'm still looking for a sprite artist and animator for plenty more art and will continue those discussions.

This is going to be a fairly large project and I am constantly learning new skills and programs. (Construct 3, Godot(which isn't going well), Tiled, Aseperite) I hope you are all as excited as I am to see it come together in the coming months - Let me know!!!

Glad to hear you're making progress! I'm excited to see how it goes.

It will be a while but most of that is because of learning curve. I always make progress, the speed just varies and the scope of this one is massive.

Concerned you're spreading yourself too thin with three projects and at least two engines in the pipeline.

Yeah, I've been concerned about the same thing for about 2 years now and can completely understand the concern. However, while I have successfully continued to further the life support of Milovana's EOS system for TOTS, I will run completely out of room one day. This is beyond the fact that the wider audience seems to hate the engine which severely limits my outreach. This leads me to branch into something standalone and to really flex my game design experience with an engine that can actually take my vision. It will be months before anything of value is created so I wanted to jump into that process as soon as I can. I have to see what kind of workflow I can sustain.
