Technically I don't think I've been part of patreon for a year yet, but I this is end of the year enough for me. Having a patreon has definitely helped me work healthier. Having someone to answer to keeps me moving forward, usually at a very steady pace. I can simultaneously know that I have people who look forward to what I do and that helps me treat it like a job and set healthier boundaries. Which, in turn, has kept burnout at bay. I will always be thankful for that.

We've accomplished so much this year.

This year, thanks to your help I've:
-Put out 3 different books
-Created 1 new game
-Ran my first con panel
-Started development on 3 new games

Despite the absolute shit storm that was November and the faberge egos of billionaires with more money than sense or morals it's easy to feel accomplished. I've had to spend a good chunk of the month I could have spent working setting up and starting social media presences on 3 different platforms and as far as I'm concerned he owes me a month of wages. I'm so sorry this ate into what should have been spent working.

What work has been done this month has been moving forward on the final draft of the prelim mechanics of Protect the Sacred. I'm currently working on the new "protocols", called "lodges" in this game.  I'm trying to take some lessons I learned from Exceptionals and structure the workload better. But that does mean things are going to feel a lil slow going

Protect the Sacred is going to have, at this moment 30 different "lodges". That's 7 more than the exceptional corebook's 23. 3 more than the 27 if you include the expansion. That's about 480 questions and 480 questions that will be better done now than later, letting me have more chances to polish, draft, and more.

I'm also working on a short story for a historical fiction anthology. Hopefully that will go all good and well. If it doesn't get picked up I'll make sure to make it an extra.
