Rangiku Matsimoto Body swap/ Possession Single image illustration (Patreon)
Content
[now out of early access!]
Hello patrons, here is the single image illustration for this week, we have one more left and it will be a bit different than all the other ones, I'll have a poll for it soon; it's also going to be the free content for this month.
This is the 10th 'complete post' thank you for allowing me to create as much work as I have!
The next single image illustration will be different and along with it explanations as to what will change, most of you probably won't really notice any changes, but this single image illustration along with a couple others have shown me I need to make slight changes in my work in order to create better content, the amount of work I put out will not be changing. I tested it out in this single image illustration, so if you don't notice anything off or maybe it's even your favorite illustration here that's good, it's not a test and it has nothing to do with not including things, or any sort of short cuts.
SPOILERS for what the change is:
The bottom right drawing is just me drawing it without worrying about the character references, filtering her through a style I like to draw in that I think is very flexible.
The bleach single image illustration has been a source of frustration for me, not just the bleach one but it has been the straw that's broken the camels back. Trying to exactly replicate the styles of different animes has proven to be difficult not only in the way one would expect, but in the consistency of reference images I can gather. It's especially evident in the bleach one since the character is completely different looking based on the image, which is both frustrating and confusing. Something like One Piece or Kobuyashi, are much more consistent not perfect, but enough for me to at least come close to being able to understand. I think I may be stepping away from trying to exactly get the style of any given anime and lean more towards hitting the landmarks of the characters, I want them to be recognizable, and still look good. I think this may save me sanity and time, and prevent unneeded stress for my twice a week deadline. Also I can't upload these early because I'm making them as I go, if you thought I was one to plan ahead so much you would be wrong lol. Even if I get ahead I just use that time to work more. Anyways, I'm not sure how drastic of a shift many of you will notice in the work, I've worked with many clients and everyone has a different varying level of art literacy. I'll test it out with the final single image illustration of this month, which will be free for the public (unless a certain commission becomes certain on what they want lol).
