Announcement - Voxta.ai (Patreon)

Hello there, Patrons!

We know it's been quiet around here. But here's the thing, we haven't been resting. We've been hard at work, putting our all into a project that we think you're going to appreciate.

We've been teaming up with the awesome AcidBubbles and ReignMocap, and we're making an AI for Virt-A-Mate that we're calling Voxta. It's been a ton of work and we're not finished yet, but we're really proud of what we've managed to do so far.

Soon, we'll be giving you, our patrons, exclusive first access to Voxta to experiment with. But here's the thing, though: if you want to keep up with updates and support the project, we've set up a separate Patreon just for this venture. This will make sure most of the funds will be funneled directly into making Voxta even better.

What's so cool about Voxta?

1. It's not just a chatbot stuck onto VAM. Instead, it uses something called inference which allows Voxta to smartly choose animations based on the context of the conversation. It's like she's got a life of her own! And there's more to come, but we'll save that for later.

2. Voxta is fast. We're talking real-time interactions. Engage in real-time conversations that will make you question the boundaries of reality. This being new tech, expect a few bugs and glitches in the early stages. We're learning as we go, and we're committed to making this the best it can be.

3. Additionally, another major feature of Voxta is customization. You'll be able to create any character you want, complete with a unique personality, backstory, temperament, and even their own way of speaking. This means you can truly tailor your character to match your vision.

4. On top of that, we're no longer held back by scene size limits. We can now record up to an hour of raw motion capture data. This lets us work on building a single, larger scene filled with lots of animations and transitions. It's a big step for us and we're excited about it.
