Update: Want to keep the same look in every scene? (Patreon)

Here's how:

1) Load a Scene with a Person Atom

2) Go to "Control & Physics 1" and check the box "Keep Preset Parameter Locks Between Scene Loads"

3) Open "Preset Locks" overview Tab and Check the boxes for "Plugin Presets" and "Clothing Presets".

4) Load up your chosen appearance in the "Appearance Presets" tab.

5.1) Then go back to "Preset Locks overview" Tab and uncheck "Plugin Presets" and "Clothing Presets" then Check the "AppearancePresets" box.

7) Voila! You're all set.

the step 2 is to load your own look. the step 5 is to keep your look across all scenes.

i assume i'd need to check appearance preset since that's how i load mine

No you don't. When you check Skin, Hair and Morph (Step 5) this will be your appearance preset (except for clothes). also Please make sure that "Keep Preset Parameter Locks Between Scene Loads" is checked. https://i.imgur.com/7MVSY8m.png

Make sure you have a preset of your character saved as well, if you just loading looks without a preset of the character it won't work.

Thanks for sharing this! Minor thing: the iris color changes when a new scene loads, any way to keep the iris color as well?

Hey, Marc, that's correct. The iris color isn't being saved. It's a game bug. We should report this issue promptly to ensure it gets fixed.

J, You were right. I take it back. In the third step, it's enough to check the "AppearancePresets" box.

I rewrote the third step, you should only check the "AppearancePresets" box. this way you keep Iris color.
