Due to some nonsense, I'll be making souls look like desserts and I guess label it as stuffing

Dani loves eating souls for the power they grant and how filling they can be, however they go away quite quickly as she has said the soul then moves on and is no longer lingering. DD doesn't mind this much now that he knows at least when Dani eats them they move on but Desire is preventing the souls from moving on when she consumes them.

Further cementing the idea that Dani is a perfect match for DD. When Desire got heavy DD was heavy, DD had a limited space due to store Desire due to all the souls in her but a few of the lingering souls matched DD allowing Desire to have him as her host. Desire would flood DD's head with so many thought it was hard to focus on anything.

Dani on the other hand when shes heavy it does nothing to DD, Dani can store herself in DD's body no matter what, is only one other voice in his head and shes rather considerate of when he needs to do things. She compliments him quite well so he allows her to do more. Due to perfect host status she can give him immortality, power, and more as they bond for longer.
