I've been trying to make some Branding™ changes about the channel, focusing more around positivity (always a goal, just not always clear), good games and (from now) a bit more upbeat tone of voice I hope. I'm going to look for ways to improve my Channel Trailer, banner and other corners to get the message out better as well.

Along the way, I noticed a series (Cherry Tree High Girls' Fight) I was about 2/3rds of the way through recording wasn't really put together in a way that supports that concept anymore. I complain a lot in the first video, then over time I start to realize I really like the game just not for the reasons I was hoping to. With 3 hours recorded, it kinda hurt but I'm going to do a total do-over.

I decided I might as well keep those videos available to Patreons, and in fact I have a few other videos I've done re-takes on: Rudymical (audio just messed up enough I redid it), Rabi Ribi (recorded episode 1 3 months ago, decided to instead beat the whole game before a recorded playthrough) and Indigo Child (I spend 10 minutes not knowing what to do in a 5 minute game).

Introducing the Blooper Reel

Starting today videos like these will go into a special playlist for my Patreons only, at any payment tier to view. I'll add this to the Rewards section soon, but you can watch all the videos now at the included link.

Unlike a standard blooper reel these aren't really heavily edited clips of silly screw ups, they're more or less full videos with just enough tone/editing/whatever issues I decide to do a full re-record. Almost anything in the blooper reel is probably going to get a second video (I have some abandoned let's plays, but I think they were deleted).

I tried recording "standard" bloopers before—it just ends up being a ton of me starting a recording, realizing something's wrong, swearing and immediately stopping the recording. Not that funny.

Thanks!

As always, thanks for being awesome, Patreons! I'm going to try to keep things updated a bit more frequently here as well.
