And in that time I obviously had a bunch of things I needed to take care of. For one I needed to deal with one of the Demon Generals to keep my promise to Aqua but that wasn't going to be an issue at all... As none of the Generals besides the Evil Goddess Wolbach were a threat to me.

'But its a pity with how hot Wolbach is. She is an evil goddess who doesn't blink an eye at mass slaughter, even if I myself have shoved down my morals in gaining power I still want my harem members to be good people if even to just keep myself on a good path.' I thought blowing out some air as I looked at Kunou who I tucked into a bed that I made sure was clean of any bugs or anything.

Brushing a hand over my face I began mentally reviewing what I should do here in Konosuba to make sure I make the best of my trip here other than you know... Resurrecting Kunou herself.

"Ok, first it looks like this is the beginning of Konosuba as Darkness and Megumin wasn't with their party... So that means that Dulluhan whats his name ah Beldia should have been sent to the old castle outside the city to find out what the ray of light that was Aqua's entry into the world." I muttered to myself and nodding as I smiled at having someone completely evil that I could kill without any issues.

But with the demon general picked out I mentally hummed as my lips I shrugged as getting an adventurer card and the system of power of this world was just... Meh as it was crap and deep in my soul I knew the power was something tacked onto my soul and body not something that I gained naturally or was fully fused into my body. I knew this because there were ways to cheat the system a bit with level resetting and other nonsense.

Either way I was just going to pick up Aqua's healing and holy magic. Maybe explosion magic as well if I could find Megumin or I could just go to Whiz the Lich Waifu...

'Should I try to pick up Wiz?" I wondered as my lips twitched at the reminder that Wiz was actually a Lich and thus undead... Meaning that actually boinking her a lich and being part of my harem was... Yeah

Disregarding that line of thought I paused as I wondered if there was anything else to do in Konosuba... And after a long moment, my lips twitched as I realized there wasn't anything else I was gung ho about doing in Konosuba.

But as I was wondering if I should order some snacks and a book from the inn's owner downstairs I heard a groan and I looked over to Kunou who rolled over onto her side.

"Kunou you awake?" I asked curiously and her form went eerily still before she slowly relaxed with her opening her eyes as she laid onto her back with her head propped onto some thick pillows and looked at me with her golden eyes.

For a long moment, she looked at me before she blinked and said with some confusion. "You... You were the one who was supposed to watch after me for a couple of weeks right? How am I alive?" She questioned as she gingerly pulled her blood-stained priestess outfit aside slightly to see her pale smooth. And most importantly unmarred flesh.

I took a breath and said. "Kunou, I need you to listen to me alright," I spoke and Kunou's eyes snapped to me and I continued. "Kunou... You literally died there, your heart was cut in two and the reason you are alive right now is I took you to a goddess to have your body fixed along with any damage to your soul fixed."

The foxgirls face was pale and she visibly shuddered before she said slowly. "I see... And where are we now? What debt do I and you owe this goddess for performing such a miracle?" She questioned with surprisingly strong mental fortitude.

'Then again, even in canon she rallied real quick and helped free her mother of being mind-controlled by the Hero Faction.' I thought before I took a breath and continued explaining seriously. "Kunou. I need you to promise that you will only tell your mother about what I am about to tell you."

She easily nodded so I continued. "I brought the two of us to another world past the Dimensional Gap and that is how I reached this goddess. So although there is a debt to be paid for this service I can take care of the task that she needs... But we will need to be here for a week for our bodies and souls to acclimated after going through the void between worlds to go back home."

There was a moment of silence as Kunou digested all of this and after a moment she spoke with a forced smile. "Well... Jake, I know you are telling the truth as I am a Nine-tailed Kitsune and thus I know you haven't used any illusions or mind control on me so I won't cause you any issues. So are we just going to be sitting around or something? Or can we explore at all?" She asked with some excitement as she acknowledged we were in a new world.

'Damn... I bet she is also super excited because in this world she isn't Kunou the princess of Youkai and instead is just Kunou a nine-tailed fox.' I thought with a wry smile before nodding and saying. "Yeah that should be fine so long as I am with you, I am the strongest after all!" I joked at the end with her snorting at my cocky way of saying it.

"A human saying he is the strongest. You are funny Jake." Kunou said teasingly and I raised an eyebrow and retorted flatly.

"Seems like a certain princess is going to be taught some manners via vicious tickling... Now, why don't you go into the bathroom over there and clean up if you can walk on your own." I spoke waving my hand to the side room making Kunou pout slightly at how I effortlessly teased her back.

But a thought did hit me as I was thinking about being the 'strongest' as Kunou carefully got up and after realizing she was perfectly fine she went into the bathroom and audibly locked the door behind her.

"Being the strongest huh... I wonder if I should pop over to JJK and pick up the Limitless and Ten Shadows techniques?" I mused as I smiled at the thought of throwing daddy Mahoraga at Leviathan or Behemoth in Worm.
