Now with the emblem no longer draining my lifeforce to keep Elizabeth and Serana mind-controlled I experimentally attempted to shatter the emblem with in my hand but I could all to clearly hear Hecate chuckling evilly in the back of my mind at my actions and at that I said mentally to all the gods.

'Alright shows over, Hecate has irritated me with her antics so you guys get put in the closet now.' I announced and the other gods made up a din of noise in my mind as they shouted out but regardless I slammed down my mental shields to block out their view of the world and even as Scathach and Ereshkigal attempted to peak out into the mortal world physically I shut that down too.

Let the other gods punish Hecate for ruining their fun.

"What will we be doing now Jake?" Alpha spoke softly as she walked over and I knew she was asking about what we were going to do about the two vampire women... And in the end, although I didn't care much for Elizabeth, I knew Serana still had a part to play for in the future.

So even if I didn't still have a slight crush on the big titty goth girl, I couldn't and wouldn't have her disposed of. "Let them clear their heads... I have questions to say the least." I said evenly, even all the while, Beta moved to the side of the room, so she could more easily attack them with her great archery skills.

And finally, after a couple of minutes, Serana and Elizabeth cleared their minds of the leftover mental fog from the emblem of Molag Bal and refocused on us. There was a long pause, human/elf, made eye contact with glowing eyes of a predator.

But the predatorial eyes blinked as Serana asked flatly. "Where... Am I?"

Instead of myself answering, Elizabeth was the one who spoke with a tired drawl. And I couldn't help but admit that the petite vampire woman had a nice voice as she spoke. "We are within my castle. And that on the floor dead is my retainer who was mind controlling us remember?"

Serana's face twisted into a snarl with her eyes tightening into thin slits as she hissed at the broken man's still form. "Indeed." She said slowly with clear distaste. "Now I do, my mind is still a bit foggy as the trip here to this plane was rough on me even with Molag Bals 'protection' but my memories are clearing up with every moment." She finished and then both vampire ladies in unison turned to Alpha, Beta and myself.

I myself nodded to them and finally spoke out. "Indeed, we killed your master and broke the bonds that bind you as for some reason or another, your presence here Serana is part of some form of doom for the world... Where is your elder scroll?" I demanded as I realized the large scroll she was supposed to have wasn't fucking mounted on her back like it was supposed to be.

Serana's eye's focused on me beyond the other two ladies and I felt Alpha tighten as the vampire progenitor's mana flowed over us as she said slowly. "How do you know of the Elder Scroll I kept?" She demanded quietly.

See the Elder Scrolls, were basically super eldritch scrolls that held the concept of time and reality within them, and thus acted like anchors for reality itself in the Elder Scrolls Universe which was now connected to this universe. They were extremely powerful, extremely dangerous things as just reading the scroll without the right preparations could easily make you go blind or even kill a man with their soul being burned out by the power and 'Truth' within the scroll.

Serana was sealed away both by her freewill as well as by her mother in order to hide the Elder Scroll they had from her father who was a power-made vampire lord who wanted to use several Elder Scrolls to pinpoint the location of a divine artifact that would allow them to block the suns glare allowing them take over the world freely or some bullshit.

So as Serana got... Antsy about myself knowing about her Elder Scroll, but I actually had an easy excuse. "Uhh, we are here on a literal divine quest given by our god for you carry an Elder Scroll which can foretell the worlds possible doom... Why the hell wouldn't we know about the apocalypse in a tube?" I questioned in turn and Serana opened her mouth and then paused.

We could all see the gears working in her head and when she came to the realization that. A- Why the hell wouldn't the gods know about a pre-foretold apocalypse landing in their area, and B- It was obvious that either her father or Molag Bal had snatched the scroll when they yeeted her through space and time to this plane.

And that realization clearly resounded within her head as she finally spoke flatly. "It seems that I no longer have it... Now what will you be doing? Are we going to kill each other, human and elves?" She asked and I noticed she and Elizabeth shared a look that clearly meant they would back one another up if needed.

For a moment I wanted to pulse some mana through the emblem Hecate fucked with to see what would happen at their Serana's confrontational attitude... But in the end, I just smiled and shook my head loosening my stance as I visibly relaxed before I spoke. "Nope, we are leaving now. We killed the big bad mind controller, killed hundreds of vampires, and I know you two aren't going to be an issue." I then turned around with my hands naturally going around Beta and Alpha's waists to nudge them to follow me silenty and I could feel their amusement at my actions.

"Wait! Thats it!? What about the Elder Scroll?!" She called out flabbergasted as she stood there alone as Elizabeth followed after us a bit for some reason, and at her call out I looked back and spoke freely.

"Ah yes, well if it's being kept by the evil vampire god in the mortal realm of Nirn as it needs to be. It will obviously be kept somewhere important, well protected, and in a place where it could be used when needed. So I just need to find that area to get the scroll and go throw it into the ocean." At my words, Serana's face twisted as she realized very easily where the Elder Scroll would most likely be.

Castle Volikhar, where her father ruled with his vampire army.

"Uhm can I come with you guys?" Elizabeth asked with the regality of her being royalty... While also just being too damned cute honestly.

So I nodded with no real issue, as I could feel the connection between me and her with that damned emblem that Hecate fucked with.

"Wait I am coming too! We need to secure that Elder Scroll as my father-" Serana started and I raised a finger to silence her as I wore a wry smile.

"Serana, I have no way to Nirn as of yet... The physical realm won't be landing here for a couple more weeks yet so just relax. Also, you will be paying for 'food' and board with teaching Nirn style magic." I said flatly making the vampire princess's face twitch at how abrupt I was being.
