Fleshcrafter Chapter 76 (Patreon)

I spent the next couple of days with Rias, comforting her about her losses along with Akeno helping as much as she could while getting her own revived mother settled into the Gremory estate.

Not much else happened other than just mental healing and everyone getting their game face back on with all the shit that had happened. And thankfully after that couple day's everyone had their edge back. And in the midafternoon, as I was snuggling with Rias and Akeno on a large couch with Koneko sleeping on my lap as we watched a movie. Grayfia knocked on the room's door and came in.

Grayfia like Venelana had already settled into calling me the would-be Lord of the Gremory house as apparently the ancestor Runeas Gremory's alarm to wake up was in a couple more weeks so she wouldn't be waking up for anything and the few times maids or people woke her up before, she almost or did kill whoever woke them up, by pulling a Warhammer and having a massive conjured camels foot slam on them and crush them.

So I was for the most part in charge as funny enough... Literally no one fucking wanted to be Lord Gremory in the slightest, as Rias wanted my last name, Milicas was too young, Grayfia was a living fetish in being a maid, and Venalana was a Bael who with the Bael ancestor clearly being an enemy, she couldn't become the head of the Gremory Clan.

So Grayfia was now 'my' maid. As the head of the Gremory Clan and the one running to become the new Lucifer. "He has formally requested a meeting," Grayfia stated and I had no delusions of who she meant.

Zekram Bael had bitten the bait.

I nodded with my face not changing as my hand continued petting Koneko's head earning a loud pur that made a ghost of a smile cross my face before I closed my eye's and took a breath before I looked back into the grey eye's of Grayfia and I nodded before I spoke with a bit of tiredness in my voice. "I see... And when will it be?" I asked and she smiled coldly as she responded.

"In three hours. He wishes to 'speak' with you before you begin the process of restoring the clans... Obviously he means to kill you before you create the devils as he wouldn't be able to kill them with the knowledge of their existence spreading through the underworld. So he will seek to kill you before you can upset the balance and he can simply claim to wanting to keep the status quo."

Rias then cut in with a bit of crimson spark's of Power of Destruction jumping between her finger's as she continued coldly. "And instead we will just kill him when he arrives?"

Grayfia paused and then slowly nodded with a small grimace as she said quietly. "It will make us look bad honestly. Killing someone with guest rights without them offending us."

I could only shrug as murder was murder, political murder for gain was still just murder. I had come a long way from turning my enemies to waifu's and now I had accepted killing people when I needed to. This was a world built for the strong and I was already strong having attuned my body to perfection with so many bloodlines and having my body's natural mana capacity grow greatly over the time I had been around.

My thoughts were then interrupted by Akeno who chuckled and said sadistically. "But once we kill the first rat that sticks its head out of its hole. The others will stay in their holes." And to that, Grayfia nodded.

As she responded dryly. "Indeed, should Jake succeed in killing Zekram, he will be looked at with the same fear and respect that Sirzechs had after the war when he would regularly delete entire miles of land from existence with a wave of his hands." Grayfia's lips twitched before she said wryly. "Such a brutal reminder of the old ways will set the old clan leaders and their factions into submission lest they draw your ire."

That conversation ended on that topic with my due date for meeting the Bael ancestor at the specific time and as Grayfia relaxed from her stiffer reporting position I asked idly. "I imagine Milicas is with Venelana?" I asked and she nodded with no explanation needed as Venelana couldn't be seen at her ancestor's assassination for a number of reasons. But with that confirmation, I continued. "That's good, I like my little bro... Anyway, I suppose I should get showered and changed for such an event." I said with a wry smile as Koneko looked up at me and hissed with her tail going ram straight and into the air.

"No. You're lap is the perfect temperature." She stated flatly and I rolled my eye's and my hand drifted down and with a pinch to her neck with my fingers and some fleshcrafting fuckery I had her nerves lock up and she went limp whining as Akeno snickered joyfully as I handed over the limp form of Koneko into the busty miko's lap.

"Be a good girl Akeno," I whispered and kissed her forehead before turning to kiss Rias on the lips and whispered to her in turn. "Love you Rias." And then with my lap freed and Rias satisfied with the kiss I got up and went deeper into my quarters and into the massive open bathroom.

My bathroom was stupidly large, it had an enclosed shower with more than a dozen shower heads to spray me with its hot water. More simple Japanese-style bathing area with a single shower head on a hose and small stools for me to sit on to wash myself. And lastly of course was the highlight of the bathroom. The outdoor pool-sized bath had alcoves for people to sit in to be massaged by water jets and the middle of the tub got to more than two meters deep so you could actually swim a bit within it.

I loved to relax in the bath for a good soak and with Rias being a major weeb Japanophile I had gotten used to washing up before entering the bath in the side wash station. But as I was getting washed up I heard the sound of bare feet slapping on the moist tiled ground due to how humid the room was and I looked to the side and blinked.

Seeing Grayfia completely nude with a washcloth in her hand and she smiled gracefully as she offered with a small flush entering her cheeks. "Would you like me to wash your back?"
