Jack Nelson, the Avaricious, the eleventh Knight of the Round, of the Cult of Diabolos was fucked beyond repair and even magical healing. When Epsilon told me Victoria would go too far in her interrogations, I believed it would be the more classical and less damaging forms of... Enhanced questioning as the Americans back home liked to call it.

You know, waterboarding, throwing him in a white padded room in a white jumpsuit... Like psychological means of breaking someone. Well it turned out that's what Victoria started with and when the immortal Jack Nelson laughed at her more psychological means of breaking him into talking she got creative and worse spiteful.

"You in there?" I asked dully as I poked Jack with a long metal handle that was spotted with dried blood that was obviously used to beat the man into his comatose state as Victoria had found the immortal's limits... Or more like the pills of immortality/rejuvenation that Jack took over the years as no longer was he regenerating from his wounds.

My prodding received no answer, only Jack's dull eyes staring at the ground as drool escaped from his ajar mouth from which Victoria had apparently broken the man's jaw when he got mouthy just before his regeneration abruptly stopped.

Deceptively strong hands gently, softly, and shakingly grabbed the leg of my ornate outfit and I looked down to the side where Victoria was kneeling looking terrified of my possible rebuke. "Did your former Pope give you information on the cult?" I asked straightforwardly not mincing words or showing any expression at the broken thing in front of me.

Victoria or her Shadow Garden number being 559 was actually the Holy Saintess of the same Faith that Jack was the pope of. She with a mana purity beyond the norm had for one reason or another caught or became tainted with the demonic possession and began mutating, and what else happened but her being imprisoned and probably about to be turned into more pills but she had managed to escape.

And found us to get treated for her terrible mutations that warped her body by the time she found us. And like a key fitting into a lock, Victoria fell into a religious fanatism that none., not even the Seven Shades of Shadow Garden could match. Nor were any of the other girls a match for her in terms of pure strength including Delta, as Victoria was beloved by all the gods and goddesses within myself.

"Yes, my lord!" Victoria exhaled in relief at being able to give a satisfactory answer and at my nod for her to continue she did so with relish. "I broke the false prophet of the dead goddess who abandoned this world! And I learned the identities of many of the Cult members including the leader of the Cult of Diabolos in charge of the kingdom of Midgar including the location of the site, of the facility that holds the left leg of Diabolos!" She said breathlessly and at that, I silently nodded, and then with a flash of light I buried a spike of light into Jack's head to send him on his way with his corpse jerking at the abrupt attack before it went limp eternally.

"Come." I ordered Victoria, and then I sent a look at the dark elf number who nodded in understanding as she rolled out a carpet to roll Jack's corpse into. To deal with him more easily.

Once I left the dark and... Nasty feeling torture room, I entered another room with Victoria right on my eyes, and as I took a seat on a nice soft couch, by the time I settled into the couch. Victoria had already crossed the room, got into the freezer to get ice to fill up the cup of water she had poured and then within another couple of seconds gently placed the cup in front of me as she took a seat on the couch from across me.

"Give me all the details Victoria," I said taking the drink with a thankful nod that made her preen but she sat more seriously and began explaining while I took in her form.

Like the rest of Shadow Garden with the notable exception of Epsilon, Victoria was a very curvaceous woman with large breasts that strained against her magical slime suit the girls of Shadow Garden used. She wore these almost horn-like headpieces that wrapped around her human ears and she had a beautiful mane of long dark pink hair.

And so Victoria shared. And shared that she most certainly did, I learned of the leader of the Midgar branch being a demi-human named Fenrir who was actually one of the ultra-rare male descendants of the three heroines that killed Diabolos, and more particularly the beastkin heroine, who being a wolf beastkin had a strong might makes right personality and such. More importantly, she learned where Fenrir was based typically here in the Kingdom of Midgar.

Finally, after a couple of minutes of Victoria reporting she finished while I had my eyes closed to absorb all the information. And finally, I exhaled as I realized there was an issue.

The Cult probably didn't know about Jack squealing like the pig he was. But this information due to it being extracted through torture wasn't really reliable to begin with... So disregarding the possibility of it being lies, there was also the fact that the Cult could up and move if they thought they were compromised.

Now the other issue, beyond the Cult of Diabolos, in my mind was Amanterasu's warning to me. Of the Lawless City having a major world bother issue taking place within the city... And only one thing came to mind when it came to that city and that was the upcoming return of the Vampire Queen with the coming Blood Moon that would revive her.

Beyond the possibility of a powerful vampire running loose, what was the real issue? Then it hit me. With the gods and daedric princes of Nirn approaching the world, the Daedric Prince of Vampire's Molag Bal... 'Why was another damned Daedric Prince already getting involved!' I mentally cursed as I realized how fucking annoying this was.

And then in that same realization of making connections, I recalled the waifu of that whole story arc being the nine-tailed fox beastkin Nakime... And I was already fucking assured that Amaterasu had that white-haired fox woman eating out of the palm of her hands by speaking to the woman in prayers and such. And that was how she had the news about what was happening in the Lawless city.

At my realizations and thoughts, I could feel that very same goddess sending a condensed feeling of smug energy towards me and in response, I rolled my eyes making Victoria flinch as she seemingly thought I was displeased at her for some reason.

You could never truly relax around a fanatic as I have learned. Either way I coughed and spoke to assure the human woman. "Good work Victoria. You have done very well." I congratulated her before taking a breath and continuing. "Now please send for Zeta and Beta who are onsite. I have a mission for them.' I said seriously.
