Four large purple bone arms with floating detached hands flew at me with zero mercy and even as I dodged and flew around the swatting arms and hands that were detached and flying around the large flying skull of Skeletron I noticed how although it wasn't sentient. It however has some kind of intelligence as after that one time I grapple hooked onto its head, it wouldn't let me do it anymore as the skeletal boss would use its arms to block my form from flying in to hit its weak point.

So with it using its flying arms and hands to mess with the chain of my grappling hook when I tried to fly at its head directly to do damage to its weak point with my more powerful sword I instead switched over to my Minishark as I already had an infinite musket ball pouch so I didn't need to worry about ammo with the minigun's insane fire rate.

But when I clearly gave up on bullying it in close range and switched to just shooting the hell out of it from a distance the purple skeletal's head had spikes piercing through its bone-like exterior and at the sight, I groaned. "Not this again." I cursed as I zipped away with my grappling hooks speed augmented by my jet boots increasing my speed as the large flying skull started rapidly spinning and those crystalline spikes that grew from the bone surface were launched everywhere.

Thankfully with my time killing the Desert Scourge, I was well used to monsters with spikes just abruptly shooting them at me. And outside here in this mountainous valley, I truly had plenty of time to just carefully dodge said spikes out of the air as my Terraspark boots and my Falna-boosted body gave me the speed to keep the bastard away even with its hands started forming little biting bone mouths to throw at me.

Unlike Terraria where if you got too far away from the boss, it would basically teleport or just speed up and ram into you for daring to run away, in this 'real world' I was able to punish the much slower flying skeletal boss. Truly the Terraspark boots were playing the greatest of dividends as I was literally able to bully the boss to death with its skeletal arms and hands breaking apart under the hail of endless minigun fire.

"I need to make the flying carpet so  then I will literally be an attack helicopter." I couldn't help but mutter before I cursed as the arms of Skeletron violently exploded sending shards of the arms and hands everywhere but I was far enough that it was no issue. No what I was cursing about was how Skeletron's spiked head was now flying directly at me with the sounds of bones violently rattling against one another telling me how it was in an enraged state or something.

So I tried to use my magical items but its enraged state made it even faster seemingly due to the lack of the arms weight it down and seeing as a single touch in the game would kill the character regardless of health or armor I just kept far away dropping down and shooting upwards to avoid the much faster Skeletron's head by a good few meters when it managed to catch back up with me.

Thus with its defense so high I just switched to using Jester Arrows that went through the ultra-durable bone head of Skeletron with the Hellwing bow I made from the materials I got from my trip to the Dragon Vase. So the Jester Arrows due to the effects of the bow were transformed from a simple arrow to instead a zipping batlike silhouette of flames that burnt the interior of Skeletron with the passage of the arrow through the boss's head.

Grappling to the ground, flying into the air. I did everything I could to stay away from the monster's spiked spinning head and finally, after a whole five minutes of running around frantically while shooting the boss while my summons also did what they could, Skeletron died with a violent death rattle that left its giftbag dropping down onto the ground and making me backtrack to go collect it.

"Good job guys," I said smiling as I patted Sir Flufflykins the First on his fluffy head while checking out my other summons and confirmed that despite the hail of bone spikes and other stuff, for whatever reason they never seemed to get hurt.

So with the boss clearly dead and my summons crowding around me, Haruhime came back over to me and as she did I decided to be nice and handed the gift bag to her.

"Here, I am relying on you to be my lady luck and get me some good stuff," I said grinning and Haruhime swallowed while holding the goodie bag that I got from killing the boss. But as she untied the bag I staggered in place while she opened up the bag I got a confirmation on how I could get the stuff I would normally get from the dungeon in Terraria with dozens more crafting recipes being flooded into my head with stuff like the water candle, swords, the ball on a chain, and of course the all so important Muramasa.

An important sword that I would use to finally make the Night's Edge which is a powerful sword I can use in Hard Mode... Before I basically immediately upgrade it again into the True Nights Edge.

But even as my head's clogged up feeling went away as I pushed down the knowledge of the crafting recipes I patted Haruhime on her head as she unsurely held up the loot in her arms unsure of what I even wanted from it. So once I took the Necromantic Brew from her and mentally slotted it into my soul's accessory slots I couldn't help but chuckle as Haruhime yelped in surprise as I realized I could almost perfectly control the two large bone arm's and hands that the Skeletron boss drop gave me that belonged from the Fargo's mod that gave me all these boss accessories that made me so much stronger.

'At the cost of the bosses also getting stronger.' I thought wryly before grinning and pulling Haruhime to me for a quick hug as I chuckled at her luck in actually getting something I wanted from the goodie bag. "Good job Haruhime, I actually needed this," I said making the fox girl flush at how affectionate I was being but then as I relaxed on a fallen tree that got smashed during the fight I sighed as I realized there was still one major adversary I needed to kill before I went to Hard Mode and things got crazy.

"Wall of Flesh here I am..." I muttered as I took out the foot-long doll that I had to make with the blood of someone that trusted me. Thankfully the doll didn't require me to kill that person via some kind of sacrifice or something but I needed blood given to me from someone that trusted me with their life specifically... So Bell's blood was used in its creation.

"Haruhime," I spoke up as I looked over to the fox girl who perked up as she was sitting next to me with her knees up against her chest and staring at my side a bit but when I spoke she looked up to me and after a moment of looking into her green eyes I spoke. "This boss is going to be... Different, after we eat and rest for a bit I will give you a couple summons to protect you but do not stop walking back towards Orario until I resummon one of my summonses to me, and should they both disappear well..." I said wryly at the end as I was pretty sure if I died that my summons would disappear.

I had zero idea of how huge the Wall of Flesh was to be. And I refuse to have my adorable fox girl smashed into pieces by the tidal wave of corrupted flesh that would seek to kill me.

I hope the wall is gigantic and the fight somewhat apocalyptic.

There will be very real consequences for Jake bringing actual unbound gods to the world to kill and harvest them...
