Oh, Alpha's memories were dulled being corrupted into a lump of mutated flesh over the years... But that didn't mean she forgot her aunt who dumped her to those terrible caretakers that literally sold her to be tortured and turned into pills for the Cult of Diabolos.

Now seeing that aunt that abandoned her stab Jake through the heart all she could see was red. All she felt was anger and hate that filled her heart and soul to the brim. But feelings rather than making her lash out and cause massive damage, her feelings only made her mind become ice cold as she ever so carefully passed Jake's body to Zeta who hopped down from a nearby building. "Take him away Zeta... I have things to do and family has to catch up." Alpha almost spat as Zeta took Jake's body and mounted herself on her summoned Nemian Lion that leaped away from the pool of dense shadows with Jake being carried by Zeta.

Beatrix raised a hand to Alpha with her mouth opening up and Alpha loudly scoffed cutting her off. "Do not call me by that name... I do not acknowledge it and nor do I acknowledge you. You abandoned me, and the person who saved me both from facing a fate worth death and from Demon Possession, you cut out his heart... Die for tearing out my own heart Aunty as my name is now Alpha." Alpha whispered as her calling Beatrix, Aunty with so much hate and vitriol made Beatrix stagger in place.

Even in the throes of confusion and heartache at the hatred her niece was looking at her, Beatrix was acknowledged to be one of if not the strongest sword fighters in the world as massive tentacles with teeth and eyes filled the surroundings like a Shoggoth, Beatrix cut through the shadows and leaped from the ground that was darkening into a pool of shadows that the solid tentacles with teeth and eyes upon them would sprout from.

"I did not abandon you," Beatrix whispered with a choked sob as she landed across from Alpha. "I was trying to find a cure for the demon possession!" She pleaded to try to make sense of how all this was happening but Alpha just wryly smiled.

"Demon Possession? Like you had and naturally overcame as a child and became so strong with your strengthened body... Yeah highly skilled magic users including yourself could have pulled the taint of the Diabolos curse out of our bodies as that's what Jake did." Alpha said spitefully as even Beta and Zeta after some training were capable of doing it with their mana that was refined by divinity.

Sure other people would find it ridiculously difficult but Beatrix was an elf with a very long life and was not unskilled with her magic.

"I am sorry," Beatrix said numbly as she stood stock still unable to say or do anything

At that crushing sentence, at the knowledge that Beatrix could have saved Alpha all along she was so stunned that she couldn't even react when a shadowy tendril grew from her own shadow and before she could react at the feeling of being grabbed she was whipped through the air at a great speed and with a roar of exertion from Alpha who pulled at her own mana she strengthened the tendril to prevent Beatrix from cutting it off her leg as she spun the elf in the air several times to build up momentum and then when the tendril reached its limits at the speed.

She released the tendril with Beatrix being launched into the sky in the opposite direction in which they had entered the city.

For a moment Alpha considered as she was spinning Beatrix around to smash her into the ground and then have the large tendrils and tentacles smash her form until naught but bloody paste remained, but Alpha took a breath and recalled Jake's blessing of Godhand so instead of killing her aunt then and there she decided she was going to get strong enough to capture her aunt so Jake could deal with her as he will for cutting his heart into pieces.

"Good girl... You tapped into some latent domains of gods that haven't descended into Jake's soul. But don't do it again for a few months as your soul will be ground into dust from the strain." Hecate spoke into Alpha's mind as Alpha herself teetered back and forth before she spat some blood that filled her mouth and wiped the blood that dripped from her eyes and nose as Hecate's words about the strain her tapping into another god or goddesses domains were clearly too great for her current self.

"Lady Hecate I need more training," Alpha whispered and Hecate hummed in her mind as Alpha made her way out of the wrecked town square and followed the large tracks of the Nemian Lion as its paws broke the roof tiles as it leaped to and from the buildings.

"I am not Scathach that will beat lessons into you patiently, so what I deign to teach you will be what you are taught, and if you fail to meet my expectations... You don't want to disappoint me little elf." Hecate said coldly before the cold misty feeling that filled Alpha's soul retreated to probably check on what was happening within Jake's own body.

A few minutes later as Alpha's body recovered she was able to fill it with mana so she could run and catch up with Zeta who was fussing over Jake who had already created a new carriage linked up with the carriage that Delta had brought and Alpha couldn't care less as three new elven faces peeked around the drapes of the carriage she sprinted into Jake's arms and held him tightly in sheer joy that he was still alive.
