Nier Chapter 104 (Patreon)

Waking up with Weiss lying beside me I couldn't help but grin but also grimace as I realized the Vytal Festival was upon us today and obviously my team would be fighting in the team battles.

I mean sure I wasn't against fighting and representing my team, but I knew for a fact that I had more important matters to deal with after the tournament broke down into 2v2 and 1v1's.

"Jake. You are thinking too loud." Weiss groaned as she looked up at me and I just deadpanned at her. "When you think too hard, your heart starts pounding." Weiss continued dully before headbutting my chest as she sought to magically knock herself out to fall back asleep.

'Well excuse me missy, it's not my fault I am stressed!' I thought as I held in the urge to spank Weiss on her backside for being cheeky as we were in the dorms and with Pyrrha awake and watching us kind of that would be... Really weird.

"I call dibs on a shower." I said slipped out from under Weiss much to groans of distress at both my leaving and taking the first shower and thus the premium hot water while Pyrrha just snickered as Weiss pushed her head under her stack of pillows to drown out her sorrows.

Jeanne on the other hand had seven other sisters and thus no longer cared about hot water as she had long grown up with that being a luxury with her family having nine women total counting herself and her mother. That and having seven siblings made it so you could sleep comfortably with people making a decent bit of noise in the very room and not give a damn.

Beacon for all that it was a super solider school built to train people to kill monsters and later in the school years kill bandits. Was also coed in basically everything as our dorm bathrooms were decent sized with two shower heads, a toilet and very large sink/bathroom counter with actual lines of metal to separate the sections so people could and had sectioned off areas for their makeup and other hygiene stuff.

So, I wasn't really surprised as Jeanne and Weiss still dead tired and sleepy eyed came into the bathroom to do their morning routine with Weiss taking the other showerhead while I finished cleaning myself and came out into the dorm in my towel.

"Hey Pyrrha while the girls are busy, I wanted to ask you something." I spoke and the gladiator of Mistral looked up at me from her morning coffee as she lounged in her nice sitting chair.

"Yes, what is it, Jake?" She asked kindly as she put aside her cup of coffee.

I chewed on my thoughts before I dived in. "I have been pretty clear with my origins being foreign to this world. And well I have come to the conclusion that after this school year that I need to move on to the next world as it were. I have gained a lot from this world in terms of martial might and especially with the friendships and love I have come for this team... Not joking but I would kill for you girls." I said wryly as I more than accepted these girls as my family at this point after I lost my old one after being transmigrated.

Weiss may have been a Tsundere that needed to be bullied with excessive love to bring out the nice sides of her but I truly loved her. Pyrrha was a sweetheart, being so kind all the time and actually taught me a great deal about swordsmanship while she was training Jeanne in her off hours as well.

Jeanne was both a tomboy in how she would often take care of herself, but she was also girly in how she loved to do some more feminine things like make the greatest apple pie ever with literally homemade ice cream to go on top of it. And Ruby was already my little sister in all but name as I really didn't see her as a romantic target due to her more childish nature.

So, I did care a lot for my team and saw them as my new family, so I wanted to ask them one on one if they were willing to come to other worlds with me.

"But I am stagnating here. I cannot gain any more power, and I want to open the gates to another world's system." As Pyrrha frowned I continued. "I can literally still call, and text should I leave this world and more importantly I can even come back to Remnant within five minutes, but I wanted to know if you would like to come with me as these worlds can be dangerous."

Pyrrha just rolled her eyes and before I could react her arm swung over, and she slugged me on the shoulder, and I winced as I my aura blocked most of the surprise blow as Pyrrha scowled at me. "Jake Bariss, your making a big deal out of this when you are basically going to another kingdom with you still being able to teleport... Sure, I would love to come with you though I would need to be able to see my mother at some points but as you yourself said, we are family, and we stick together!" Pyrrha said sternly and I wryly smiled as Pyrrha lost her stern look and then walked over behind my own chair and wrapped her arms around my shoulders.

"Just relax Jake. Jeanne practically loves you already with how much time you spend with her. You actually have a baby coming with Weiss so good luck leaving her behind as I can see her cutting through space and time to drag you back. And Ruby won't give up on you either as she sees you as her fun big brother who lets her shoot rail guns that can blast apart mountains." Pyrrha finished as her arms tightened around my shoulders and I felt her large chest push into the back of my head.

"Now come on. Let's go get some breakfast and check on Ruby because her sister's team is notorious for being waking up late." Pyrrha said with a smile as she removed herself from the hug and then without any shame took off her robe and got dressed in the Beacon uniform.
