Our meal went well with the group breaking into more relaxed topics and our group getting to actually know one another. Though I was honestly truly amused at how I completely derailed all of the canon events of Inazuma simply by having Ei get her mentally unstuck out of the Plane of Euthymia.

'It's not like she is going to allow her sister who was revived to possibly die again. Though it makes me worried... How many other goddesses are going to fill my soul by the time I finish my journey?' I mused to myself.

"Hmm... The Lantern Rite festival. It's the largest yearly festival in all of Teyvat, so I would be interested in seeing it again." Ei spoke with a wistful light in her eyes.

"When was the last time you been to one?" Paimon asked curiously.

There was a pause before Ei gave a wane smile before speaking. "Its been five hundred years since I been too one... So quite a long while I assure you. Anyway, I look forward to this new one." Ei spoke with a bit more vigor.

However, I realized all to quickly that she meant that she hadn't gone to one since the Fall of Khanrieah, or more specifically since her sister had died.

But on the bright side, the Lantern Rite was a celebration of the fallen and as you release the lantern you make, it symbolizes releasing the woes and mourning you had for the lost.

So it would be a good festival for Ei... Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Guizhong stepped out of my soul for an hour or something to spend time with her old friends.

"Besides the future festival, what are our plans for the future Jake?" Lumine asked as she took a sip of her soup.

I gave a slight hum and then spoke. "Well... I think we should do some quests here in Liyue to pad out our wallets, and I need to take Shenhe back home to meet her master."

Taking a drink to wet my throat, I continued. "After that and the festival that's happening later this week. I am thinking we should hunt through Liyue for signs of your broth- I mean sister."

'God damn Aether... Why did he have to turn into a hotter Lumine who has longer hair and more curves like a shortstack? It's just not damned fair.' I mentally groaned as that... Was a fucking can of worms I knew was going to bite me in the ass hard.

Especially when I asked... Her, if she had the same mole on the left ass cheek as Lumine did.

"Hmm... I did find some information on him from a weirdo in Mondstadt named Dainsleif. But he took off before I could get some real answers from him." Lumine grumbled with a scowl.

I nodded as that was what I expected, and I hoped she did run into Dainsleif even if I wanted to beat the shit out of the enigmatic Khanrieahn survivor.

Though Eula spoke up next. "Doing a number of quests to fill up our wallets before the festival would be a good idea. Not to mention doing the quests will get us out into Liyue's countryside where we can search for signs of your sibling."

"Agreed, I spent a good bit of money on Inazuma local goods to share with you guys over time, so I am running a bit low on funds myself," I admitted with a smile as I opened up my spatial bag and brought out a nice tea set for Eula and for Lumine I got her a nice hairpiece.

After a minute of eating as the two girls played with their gifts Ei tilted her head to the side and spoke with some wry embarrassment. "Ah. I forgot to bring to bring any Mora. I haven't had to buy anything for close to five hundred years now actually."

Lumine and Eula's expressions were a sight as Shenhe nodded sagely and said. "Its understandable, my master Cloud Retainer sometimes forgets aspects of the mortal world as well."

Ei looked a bit better at hearing that and Eula shrugged with amusement. "Jeez... First Barbatos and now Baal. Both Archon's always forget their money."

And at the reminder of Mondstadt drunkard bard of a god, Ei's face colored with distaste before she sighed and said with bemusement. "An Archon who is out of money and needs to do adventurer jobs to make money... What would the world think of me?"

"Paimon thinks that the world would think the Raiden Shogun is a good god! That she didn't put a burden on her people asking for a bunch of money before she left and is instead on a journey to help the world itself!" Paimon spoke excitedly.

Honestly... That thought process was beyond the usual Paimon speak and as I looked towards her. I understood why as dawning horror filled my gut as I saw Shenhe had unknowingly handed over her own cup of coffee to Paimon!

Lumine and my own eyes met with silent horror filling our gaze as Paimon then went and made a loud chugging noise as she downed the rest of the large mug with her visibly vibrating in the air that was floating in.

"Well it's good that we have a plan of action... So let's finish this meal and we can relax for the rest of the day before we try to take as many quests as we can do while we are flying around." I spoke before a thought hit me.

"Wait a minute... Lumine, what happened to all the money Morax paid you to send me off with Shenhe?!" I demanded as that was... A fuck load of Mora!

Lumine stopped dead still... And she wore a weak smile as she doodled on the table with a finger as she spoke pitifully. "Well you see... In return for Dainsleif giving me some information, I had to pay the drinking bill at Diluc's bar... And Dainsleif decided to drink a vintage of wine made from Barbatos himself after the Archon War."

'I got fucking pimped out... And my pimp blew all the money on overpriced booze, how abusive is my relationship with Lumine now?' I thought as I gazed at Lumine with dull eyes.

"...a vintage of wine made from Barbatos himself..." From?! Not by? How? Why? Who decided that was a good idea?
