"He has the strength of a lord for sure." Radahn spoke gruffly as he folded his arms under his chest.

As the whole family born of Rennala and Ranni's entourage watched as Jake Bariss strode away from Morgott the Omen King's corpse with nothing more than dust on his clothes and not a single wound.

Whereas Radahn, Malenia, and all others failed in defeating Morgott in open combat and using the strength that would lead to the capital being destroyed. To say nothing of possibly destroying the very Erd Tree itself.

"But the way forward is blocked. The Golden Order is not accepting a new Elden Lord." Ranni spoke bluntly as she watched through the magical portal Rennala created as Jake walked into the tunnel leading into the Erd Tree.

Even Rennala nodded in agreement, as the Erd Tree's power was something only another divine dying to burn away the life within the tree. All that power was beyond Jake even if he used that Outer Creature he hid within the depths of his soul.

They all watched as Jake threw flames, lightning, concentrated darkness, and even the haunting blue energy that made Radahn shudder at the memory of his very mind and soul being purged of the Scarlet Rot and other influences upon his soul.

Nothing seemed to work and even as that godling, the decrepit remains of what was the Gloam Eye'd Queen try to tell Jake that he needed to go to the Mountain Top of the Giant... Jake just tilted his head to the side and said something that made that soul filled automaton, Melina and the dragon-woman sprint away from him into a portal that he opened in front of them.

"What is that fool doing?" Ranni demanded as she watched as Jake popped his neck and then the magical portal buzzed and the visibility became poor as the screen vibrated so heavily that vision wasn't possible.

Then every one gave a grunt of pain as the vision portal flash banged them with pure light that made even Radahn grunt with pain as his eyes bled at the power within the light.

"One moment... I am pulling back and reforming the scrying mirror." Rennala spoke with some frustration as she had to pull back literal miles away from the Erd Tree to get what she wanted to see.

And the room went utterly silent. As there was no longer a capital of Leyndell, it was a molten crater with the very Erd Tree perched to the side as the ocean it was previously growing within having been flash boiled away and all its massive roots being destroyed as the roots weren't nearly as indestructible as the main trunk of the glowing tree.

Then as the portal flew closer, they saw Jake standing there. Still at the entrance of the Erd Tree Ranni made a choked noise as Jake seemingly stared right back at them and winked before he spoke with his voice somehow carrying through the visual-only portal.

"Rennala, I will make you my queen. But what if I make Marika my maid?"

"I may need to kill him," Radahn said gruffly while he smiled wryly at seeing his baby sister all but having an aneurysm with how her four arms were in her lap pinched together into tight fists.

A sniff rang out as Rennala broke her silence and said coldly. "The man who wishes to wed me and has my favor does have some... Ridiculous idea's but."

There was a moment of silence before Rennala spoke with only cold royal cruelty as spoke plainly. "Seeing Marika in a shift, and forced to wash my feet would do wonders for the pain she has brought me with her actions."

Then the man opened up another small portal leading somewhere else and everyone realized that Jake had sent his entourage back here to Ranni's rise as they could feel Jake's magical signature before he closed the portal having given his message to his group.

They then watched as Jake stretched and then take a deep breath before he took a step and disappeared into a bright light that formed from the entrance of the Erd Tree and everyone knew that he was taken into the inner world within the Erd Tree.

And now they had to wait. To see if Jake was merely another demi-god level entity failing to rise above their station... Or whether he would become the new Elden Lord.
