Nier Chapter 163 (Patreon)

Lansseax was a dragon through and through. Her mind may have been just as if not far more intelligent than any common human being. But there was no changing the draconic pride within her form.

She was a dragon, and no amount of honey-sweet words or actions even if I saved her dragon brother or her past lover. Would earn her favor and allegiance towards myself without me putting her into the dirt.

So even as Lansseax swiped at me with a powerful leg ending with terrible claws and the rent through the surrounding stone like it was mere playdough. I responded to her attack in kind as I bolstered my might with my aura, my magic, and the Great Runes I had acquired here in this world. 

My fist collided with her claw and I felt my feet shatter the ground under my feet... But my fist did not retreat, even as I shattered the ground into shards that shot off. I growled as I stomped forward and then with my other hand I punched the next wing that came to bat me aside with Lansseax hissing in pain as her far more fragile wing brought pain to her with my punch.

"You are with the might to properly challenge human. What is your name?" Lansseax spoke as crimson bolts of lightning began arcing over her form as she truly took me seriously.

I gave a solemn nod before I said calmly. "My name is Jake Bariss, and I will beat you with my bare hands so that way you will know that should I use my true power you would not be my match." 

I was well aware that my Guardian was at the level of a true gods power and could easily match the Elden Beast due to it having eaten the remains of the Darkness God's darkness pools of RWBY which was powerful enough to casually destroy planets with how it destroyed much of Remnants moon.

And Lansseax for however great her might was... Was not the match of my Guardian just smashing her into the ground and then breaking her wings before otherwise tearing her apart.

The draconic slitted eyes of Lansseax met mine and she tilted her head to the side before she snorted and said. "Very well Jake Barriss, if you wish to handicap yourself I will simply enjoying eating you afterward knowing you were a fool." 

I couldn't help a small chuckle hearing her but in instead of saying anything. Lansseax reared back and her crimson lightning burst outwards into power with the noise being all but deafening as she all but stood up on her hind legs as she formed a massive dozen-meter-long and wide sword out of solid crimson lightning.

'Whelp that's unfair.' I thought wryly but I dashed forward and as Lansseax swung down the massive sword of crimson lightning I leapt to the side to dodge the blow and high enough to avoid the resulting explosive wave of lighting that spread across the ground.

And by then I had gotten into Lansseax's reach and as she snapped at me with her great and terrible teeth going to snap upon my form I carefully timed it... And as she lunged for me I just kicked her with all my power right in the bottom of her jaw making her mouth snap close with a loud crunching noise.

As her head snapped up in shock of the power of the blow, I didn't stop there as I dug in my feet and I threw a wild haymaker into the side of her head as her head came down towards me right in the side of her jaw.

And as my fist made contact with her jaw, I felt her scales crack like the stone it was. The bones of her draconic jaw breaking under my fist and lastly her entire body staggering to the side as her head got shot to the side by the force of my blow.

'A small fist with so much power does a lot of damage to the internals.' I thought as I flexed my hand to spread out the pain as blood seeped from the torn skin on my knuckles.

A loud thump rang out and I staggered and coughed as crimson lightning covered my form as Lansseax had used a direct bolt of lightning from the sky to smash into me and it was only the powerful enhancements my body had gotten since I entered this world that kept me standing from that attack.

But not only was I still alive... But I was well even if my nerves were now a bit shot. 

I quickly regained control over my nerves and as the Great Runes within myself spun with power and as Lansseax dove towards me with her entire body just covered in crimson lightning. I just sped off to the side to avoid the dragon shaped spear that slammed into one of the surrounding cliff faces with a mighty rumbling noise as she shoulder checked it.

Lansseax turned back around with crimson lightning forming within her mouth that she was going to shoot out towards where she thought I had dodged originally but in the time she took to smash into the nearby mountain and turn around I had run around her side and before she could react I gave my own cheap shot as I jumped up and with all my power brought down both my fists down into the crown of her skull in a hammerhead blow.

My fists crashed into head like mighty war hammers and I heard her scales shatter, and then an equally loud rumble rang out as I slammed head into the ground and from there I kneeled down slightly and then began speed bag punching her the fucking back of the head with supernaturally strength.

A series of loud thudding noises rang out as the sounds of her head being bounced between my fists and the stone mountain top beneath her rang out like a war drum calling out orders and after a couple minutes of that and her movements petering out from no doubt crippling mental damage at her head being used as a tennis ball. I stopped my blows.

My hands were now profusely bleeding even with my Aura protecting my body, but I didn't heal them. No I gave my word that I would beat the shit out of her with my bare hands and I did.

And as I slightly panted from the exertion that was even more difficult than fighting Rykard, I asked loudly. "Do you yield ancient dragon Lansseax? Do you swear loyalty to me?" 

There was a moment of silence before I fell to the ground as Lansseax's body shifted and compressed all too quickly with her body compressing into her human form which... Was something to watch.

Lansseax's human form had stony silver hair with her golden-slitted eyes staring at me with a dull-eyed pain clear in her expression along with her body's private bits being covered in stone scaly armor while also being a good meter taller than I was.

But the pain and frustration in her eyes were wiped away as Lansseax visibly took a breath and strode over to me with her head down and then she tilted her head to the side and said quietly. "You have won master... Bite upon mine neck and stake your claim upon my form as your bite marks mine skin as proof of your victory."
