I wasn't exactly sure what kind of monster this mole was. But we quickly fed its squishy bits to Nahida with her terrible summoned meat-eating plants ripping flesh from bone. Melting muscles and separating sinew. It was a quick and gory devouring with Nahida leaving the important bits to us with me taking the remains with a judging eye.

'These digging claws have a good bit of Earth essence in it so they can be used by Earth mages in making enchanted gloves and boots to dig through the ground easily.' I thought as I remembered the enchanted forging knowledge my father had inlaid in me over the years.

"Alright, these claws as a half-step Commander tier monster will be a damned good bonus to our score! But we really... Really shoudn't try to fuck about with more Commander Tier monsters." I said with a bit of a shudder.

As this fight with the mole was on a dick hairs length of us getting shredded apart. If I didn't have my Heavy Water enhanced water shield and just a normal one, we would gotten shredded as the mole could go through Furina's water shield like it was nothing.

Keqing's lightning could only stun it and Darkness... She could only buff and heal us. So if one thing went wrong there and I couldn't get my astral spell onto it, we could have easily died there with how we can't exactly outrun giant mole in its own tunnel.

And as though just realizing our situation Furina shuddered visibly in the dark tunnel with her wrapping her arms around her form at being reminded.

Either way, I exhaled and spoke up. "Alright, so with the Commander tier monster dead, this realm is going to begin to collapse pretty soon even if there are more treasures hidden... God knows where, so I vote we get the hell out and keep looking through the Misty Forrest outside this realm."

Keqing frowned slightly but she gave a slow nod as she looked up towards the ceiling. "Very well. The Commander Tier's remains weren't worth the realm stabilizer, but we all knew this realm was a dying one anyway."

I then gave a mental order to Nahdia and her roots crawled up above us to support the roof as she began sending roots up through the ground above us to reach the surface so we could more easily leave this place.

But while she was doing that Darkness however stretched and popped her shoulder with her muttering. "We already dealt with three monster groups and a commander tier as novice mages. Once we get out of the portal, we can use the centipede's old cave as a campsite for us to sleep away the afternoon and night right Keqing."

To which Keqing firmly agreed with her saying bluntly. "Of course. Even my master and her sister ordered me to under no circumstances to go galivanting around through the night. We can't see as well as monsters can, and during the night is when the strongest and most cunning ambush predators come out."

So with that said we made plans to clean out the centipedes little dug out and then with Nahida's help we were going to seal in the hole under the tree we were under with roots to even further hide our forms from the horrors that stalked the Misty Forrest during the night.

After a few minutes, Nahida spoke to me mentally as roots formed beneath our feet to begin pushing our forms upwards. "Reached the surface. And the sky is breaking apart so we need to go master."

I told the other three girls that news and Keqing sighed and said with some annoyance. "I know master said to always use the realm stabilizers... But this realm was garbage."

I coudn't help a small giggle as Keqing was normally so taciturn and cold. But without any drama we were sent up through Nahida's wooden lift which made things so much easier than running through the possibly hour-long tunnel we went through previously.

Once we got up to the surface I picked up Furina in a piggyback ride as she couldn't run for more than a couple minutes with how shit her physique was even for a mage. And we spent the next couple minutes backtracking and reaching the portal out of this realm.

But as we were making our way out of the realm, I still took in the sights. As there was zero chance of me ever seeing this realm again as it was going to break apart in the void between worlds after losing its last hints of magical support and energy with us killing that mole that was the core or one of the cores of the realm.

The grey skies above us once lined with black scars that were leaking spatial energy from the void was now like a shattered mirror with gaping wounds of soul-capturing darkness flooding the realm from above our heads.

"Thank you." Furina whispered into my ear as her arms around my shoulders tightened and I realized that this might have been a surreal moment for her.

As she had to watch knowing her family got slaughtered in some special realm that may still or may not even exist anymore. And now here she was making her way out of this realm with her friends still alive.

I gave Furina's thighs a squeeze in support as I knew she just needed to say it. And in return I felt her head placing itself on my shoulder as she rode my back in silence until we made it out of the realm and through the small portal we had to separately climb through due to it shrinking with the realm dying.

Once we got to the other side Furina put back on her bossy boots and said more strongly. "Alright! Jake, me and you will use our water shields to drag out any filth left from this caves previous occupant."

I nodded and I began doing so with Furina also summoning a few of her water ghosts of the monsters she previously drowned to move the debris out of the shipping storage container size cave out while our water shields dragged out the ground to get rid of any nastiness on the ground.

Which allowed Nahida to use the extra dirt to make a bit of a wall over the roots she built over the exit of the cave. Once our exit was secured, I popped my hands and said more excitedly. "Alright ladies, let's eat a hot meal before it gets dark." I spoke with the three cheering while I sent Nahida back to whatever realm I summoned her from so she could properly digest that mole she had eaten previously.

Hmm definitely kinda dangerous to be wondering around at night so camping under a tree sounds like the right idea
