Sidenote: No idea why the translators called it Makora, it is calle Mahoraga in the manga. Also Nanami looked more like Harvey Dent in the Dark Knight

Phenomenal episode, phenomenal arc. This really is where Kaisen steps into its own for me. Hope Mappa gets a much needed break, or better working conditions, their health is way more important than an anime adaptation that can come at any time. Crunchyroll subtitles were hilarious too lol

Well if you listen closely, the actual Japanese voice actors are pronouncing it as ‘Makora’ as well. I’ve seen some people say that ‘Mahoraga’ was a rough English translation of the characters used in his Japanese name but I’m not well versed enough in translating to know for sure lol. Just know that at least the voice acting matches the name for the anime
