Cour 1 pretty much covers all of volume 1 minus the epilogue, as 86 was originally a oneshot with a beginning and end. Cour 2 will cover volume 2/3 which is one arc and also bridges the gap that happens in-between the final chapter and epilogue of the first volume. But essentially, volume 1 will be officially finished next episode. Hope you’ve enjoyed watching this first cour of the series, coz it’s definitely got plenty more to show, especially in cour 2.

What I love so much about the Fido scene is that Fido saw them and that broke me. He made them feel less alone and he recorded them. for me, this was the most emotional scene so far in the show, such a simple concept of having a hard copy of the spearhead team. They are living knowing that soon they will die, they don't protest it at all. But they do want to be remembered. And Fido, our lovely Fido, watched and took part and recorded it all like those family random videos. I feel you bro
