Sword Art Online is def one of my faves. Im all about the isekai shows...and SAO hits well for me. No spoilers, but Gun Gale Online alternative is a separate story without Kirito. It is its own thing.

Anytime you aren't sure if it's Kirito, it's Kirito (it wasn't she💀). Also I'm not a huge fan of the GGO arc, and I get why people don't like it, but apart from that it's a decent anime, and yes, Alicization has some sick animation.

I think the Openings where Lisa sings are only Crossing Field OP1 and ADAMAS Alicization OP1 also some Endings i guess but that was it.

I say you should react to SAO simply because, yes its Isekai and half the stuff on your channel is too... might as well keep the trend/theme going I say.

And yeah Kirito was in every opening except Gun Gale Alternate. They dont fight monsters with those guns its full battle royale PVPMMO. Think CoD warzone except instead of being limited to a "small" map with hundreds of players, you have a HUG open world with MILLIONS of players. Also this isnt a spoiler since its the premise of the show (its literally on the back of any box) the girl in the hospital wasnt sick (notice the vr headset was on), everyone is playing a VRMMO that they all get trapped in and if they die in it they die in real life, so everyone is in the hospital on IVs being kept alive while their mind is still in/playing the game trying to survive/get out.

The rising steel op is from a game related to SAO but not from the actual anime that op is my favorite though

When SAO first came out it was all the rage, that is how good season 1 was. When the second season hit was when all the bad talk about how trash it was started, it was the worse season (my opinion shared by many). The rest are good, but season 1 was the best (once again my opinion). Still even if you don't react to it I think you will like it so you should watch it.

I love Sword Art but War of the Underworld was easily one of the worst anime that I've ever watched. It's such a shame they managed to ruin a great series like this. Still have high hopes for the upcoming Progressive movie tho.

Just my opinion: I really liked the first half of the first season but after that it was just a decline for me.... It just rubs me the wrong way that basically every female Kirito encounters falls in love with him. That just really ruined it for me. Though I do have to say, I never watched any of the alicization ones.
