Best episode of the series and a dumbbb stupid hype episode to give us right before the extra insane hype of AOT

It explained it in the manga, that humans have 2 limits (stamina and life) and tanjiro was about to cross his life limit, so yeah, he would have died if he went on xD

Something that really stood out to me about this episode was the stuff about needing to be born with mark in order to use Sun Breathing. I almost feel like this shows that Tanjiro was not "selected" at birth. He EARNED that original scar by saving his brother from a brazier when he was a child and then got this new mark that looks so much like that (presumed) Sun Breathing user in Muzan's cells' memory during the Final Selection when he killed that demon who had killed Sabito and the other Water Breathing disciples. To me, this is showing that no, Tanjiro was not born to wield Sun Breathing, but he is able to because he has put his body through so much due solely to his own effort to help people, especially his family. I really like that idea of him not being a "chosen one" but it not mattering because he is so good and kind and works so hard that he gets to be the main character anyway.
