Double Black is the team name of Dazai and Chuuya! Love it. I have my own theory on why Dazai's power doesn't work on Lovecraft. We can talk about it later lol.

"Grantors of Dark disgrace, you need not wake me again" is a part of a poem called "Sheep Song", written by Nakahara Chuuya. The name of the whole poem is "The Moon, and: Sheep Song" and it consists of several parts. I highly recommend checking it out, but the quote is: "O acquaintances, grantors of dark disgrace, do not wake me again!I will endure my solitude, arms seeming already useless. O eyes that open doubtfully, open eyes that stay motionless for a while, ah, heart, that believes in others more than itself, O expectations, stale and dismal airs, leave, leave this body of mine! I enjoy nothing anymore but my wretched dreams." Again, Bungou Stray Dogs played this one very cleverly. The first part of the poem is obviously Chuuya "awakening" the full potential of his ability, The Corruption. In the second part of the poem "heart believes in others more than itself" is Chuuya putting his trust in Dazai, believing that he will stop The Corruption before shit goes down. And in the third part of the poem "Leave this body of mine, I enjoy nothing anymore but my wretched dreams" is Dazai nullifying the ability, and Chuuya eventually falling asleep after going all out... and in the end of the episode Dazai ditching him in the woods, letting the man have his sleep😅
