Fels' resurrection magic, Dia Orpheus', trigger conditions are actually debated in the Danmachi community. Nobody knows how it works exactly. Some theories are just that it has an exceptionally low success rate (possibly boosted by Bell's "Luck" ability for the show's plot), while others say that it requires a sincere payment like the true regret of a major personal loss. In the whole time Fels has been "alive" Dia Orpheus has only worked ONCE (with Wiene). Fels had originally felt cheated because he thought one of his few magic slots had been taken up by a spell that never actually worked. Dia Orpheus had no effect on Fels' mortality. The whole reason he is immortal is because when he was alive he conducted lots of experiments trying to unlock the secrets of immortality. Fels feels that these experiments caused his body to become "cursed" and caused his flesh to rot away, resulting in his current condition.

Just a fun little comment Darius, if you thought this was a S tier episode then just you wait for the last two (which Im very thankful that you're gonna watch them both back to back cause of your 2 ep format) if This was S tier then im sure you might say the last two are SSS Tier ;) . Cant wait for your future Danmachi reactions, we're in for one hell of a ride in the last 4 episodes.

The unwritten rule about not taking another adventurer's kill ONLY applies in the dungeon. But not only are they on the surface, but there's many nearby civilians who could be endangered by the monster. So the reason why Bell used such a excuse as to why he was protecting Wiene was because it was the only reason that would keep him from being labeled a "Monster Lover" and becoming a social pariah. In fact, he and the whole familia probably would have been chased out of Orario, had he used any other reason. And the red jewel on Wien's forehead is not unique to her. All members of her species have it. It's a valuable drop item that's hard to get because it has to be taken from them without killing them (you have a very miniscule chance of getting one as a normal drop item otherwise), but doing so causes them to rampage out of control. And that other Xenos that that you see sometimes that looks like Wiene is not the same species. That one is called a Gorgon.

BTW, the Dia Orpheus' final line is really nice, considering it's literally what the OG Orpheus did in the Greek myth, which made him fail bringing his love back from Hades, because he was told "as long as you don't look back, you can do it", yet the tard looked back when she called his name, and thus it failed and he also got stuck in Hades as well
