A little thing to notice in this episode is that it wasn't just the players or the lack of a coach that made Karasuno weaker in the flashback at the beginning. Their club advisor teacher just left during their practice, saying he'd come back when they were done. He had no passion to help them. When Takeda comes in as a young and inexperienced but passionate teacher who starts working his butt off to get them practice matches, training camps and a new coach, it all starts to turn around. He doesn't get enough love, I think.

as a follow up on my post about names.. the blonde pinch server his first name is Eita but he also goes by the last name in the fandom so Semi and the Libero goes by the first name Hayato. Rewatching with you, I'm surprised how confusing it must have been the first time watchers because they use sometimes the first names sometimes the last all the time. I was really surprised and proud that you remembered Taichi's name, he definitely is not someone people remember. If I had to rank Shiratorizawa's characters by memorability Ushijima, then Tendou, then Goshiki, then Shirabu, then maybe Leon.. then the rest.
