This was definitely a tear jerker! I cried during the Hestia and Karm scene but balled my eyes out during Hestia's and Bell's moment together. Many people said that the anime depiction of the scene is not consistent to the LN's portrayal of what the author was trying to say about what Bell meant when he said he wanted to be with Hestia forever. Apparently it confused a lot of audience members; they thought that Bell was confessing to Hestia here but I think it's pretty clear that Bell loves Hestia in a more familial way, something akin to a mother. And I'm sure that Hestia has that same love towards Bell too (in addition to romantically loving him), especially being her first child and him always believing in her. But these are just my two cents on the whole spiel...I could be totally wrong haha! Anyways, the end of season 2 already!! As always, thanks for doing this and reacting to Dan Machi!! I appreciate it so much, especially during such a crazy year that was 2020 and it continuing into 2021...It's one of my favorite things to sit down to and be able to watch a show with you!! And to be able to give us content even through your own tough times and own problems, seriously thank you!! Much respect and hope better and better things come your way in 2021! Take care of yourself and stay safe! ^o^/

Loved this reaction and are you gonna react to the movie or that on your own?

This didn't explain it properly, smh. While yes, the default is to Reset a Soul upon death, it's technically up to whichever gods were in charge of the post-mortem processing that cycle, as to how they want to do it. Most of them might just want to hit & run Resets to get it done w/ already, some might randomly choose to yeet someone into a CRAFTED pseudo-afterlife for shits n giggles instead of Reincarnating them, some might yeet someone into a crafted "hell" just for shits n giggles (one of the reasons nobody is willing to attack a deity, because unlike mortal fuckbois, deities are immortal & ageless, so if you die and a deity you merc'd happens to be the one on duty, you might get yeeted to hell out of "petty" revenge, so nobody is willing to risk it to begin with). I'd like to also add, that certain deities have First Dibs on Souls that die, IF they can get to them before the ones in charge of the normal processing gets to them. These are deities such as Odin, and prolly other deities from other mythologies who have dominion over fallen ppl, so yeah, Freya is one of these First Dibs deities as well, as per mythology the dead warriors are split 50/50 between Freya & Odin, after all. She's literally stated if Bell were to die, she'd just yeet to Tenkai to collect the Soul, without hesitation even tho she will be permanently banned from Gekai, due to "dying" (and thus getting teleported to Tenkai)

You were mistaken about one thing. Bridget was not killed in the dungeon. They're not allowed to go down there remember?. There are many deities and their familias outside of Orario as well. Familia members outside of Orario are generally much weaker than those within (most are level 1). This is because monsters outside of Orario are much weaker and gave much less falna per kill. Not to mention that most villagers and city-folk don't don't go out of their way to find and fight monsters. BTW: These last two episodes take place in Vol. 8 of the light novel. But they chopped out 3/4 of the volume, only making episodes out of the last two chapters. The volume is mostly short stories focusing on various people (Lily, Welf, Eina, Lyu, Mikoto and Hestia) and their love troubles, so if you thought Welf and Mikoto's confessions that they both liked a deity came out of nowhere, that's because the anime skipped over their stories. They might make an OVA out of those stories sometime, so I won't spoil it for you.

Hestia is the goddes of the hearth. A hearth is the place around the fireplace where meals were cooked and family gatherings held. It was the most important place in a home. Hestia also has a second title, "The Sacred Flame". That's why their familia emblem is a bell wreathed in flames. It stands for both the fireplace of a hearth and her secondary title. And she's known as one of the "Three Great Virgin goddesses", along with Atemis and Athena. Bell is the first man she's ever fallen in love with.
