Now you need to know about "Developmental abilities". Unlike spells and skills, that can appear at any time and are, with few exceptions, active abilities, "Developmental Abilities" can only be acquired when an adventurer levels up, and are strictly passive in nature. During a level-up, one can choose a single Developmental ability from as many as three or four abilities, depending on factors during their previous level, like types of enemies fought, vocation or combat training, losses in battle, or even one's personality. And just like stats, these abilities grow in strength, from rank I to rank S, But unlike general stats, the rank of Developmental abilities doesn't reset with each successive rank-up. What's more, Developmental abilities take much longer to rank up (going from I to H for example) than general stats and doesn't get stronger by accumulating "Falna" or experience, but by using the passive skills themselves many, many times, which means Bell's "Realis Freese" skill will have no effect on the rate of growth of his Developmental abilities. To use an example, Welf's "Forge" ability is a Developmental ability he got by ranking-up to Level 2, that automatically increases the quality of whatever he forges, and he he only got the option because he spent several years training as a blacksmith, so people like Bell or Lily would never get the "Forge" option. Now the first Developmental ability Bell picked was called "Luck", and just like his "Realis Freese" skill, was something no one had ever seen before. What it does is upps his chances of getting drop items from slain monsters, increases the likelihood of finding rare plant or mineral resources in the dungeon, and even tilts the odds in his favor in games of chance (gambling). The next Developmental ability Bell picks when he ranks-up to Level 3 is called "Immunity", which is actually a very common option for rank-up skills. It increases one's resistance to negative status effects like poison. At rank I, is does nothing more than increase one's resistance a bit, but at S, one would probably be truly immune to negative status effects. BTW: This isn't spoilers. This is all info that the light novel would have explained by this point that the anime just kinda glosses over.

Mokoto has two skills. "White Crow", that lets her determine the position of allies within a certain radius, but they have to be in the same famila as her. Then there's "Black Crow", that does the same thing, but with monsters, and it has to be a monster she's encountered before. And the item that Aisha destroyed was a Killing Stone, which likely occurred several months prior to Bell's arrival in Orario. The one Hermes delivered was a replacement for the one Aisha destroyed.
