If you look closely, Iberon's tie has blue marks, just like Rogio's face in the last panel. Did he choose to permanently wear something that would make him remember what he had done?

Tora Collita

And on Rogio's earlier hut when Ranach came visiting, we saw a skull with blue paint on it as well

Ah man, finally Ranach's endless strive for power got smacked down by iberon. He is just the same as everyone there, filled with guilt. The only reason solar stag has not yet wiped them out is because they lay low in the least desirable area of the island.

I truly hope ranach tells him about rogio. Do i think he will? No. Because for all he knows, Rogio is dead anyway.

Also can i just say how much i adore the contrast here? Ranach doesn't regret what he did, he feels no remorse, while iberon does. Ranach, he ran here because he had no other choice and probably thought he could manipulate his way to the top like he is used to doing. Iberon ran here because he thinks he truly deserves to live in a miserable desert on scraps left by more fortunate tribes. To him this is his punishment. To live with his guilt in misery until he dies. Ranach doesn't even know to think like this is an option since he assumes everyone in this tribe thinks the same as him. It makes the difference to me, iberon is redeemable. He can grow. He feels true remorse, knows he deserves punishment. Ranach isn't and never will be in my eyes.

Hm I don't think I've ever seen Ranach look at anyone like that, seems caring for once

Anonymous

Well it’s because he just realized that this is Rogio’s brother.

Well folks that’s why you don’t mess with black magic. There is always a price to pay and for Iberón it was everything.

Noxus Light

i doubt he'll tell him about rogio since ranach thinks he killed him but at least we actually know now. i hope to see a reunion. i do like the added detail of the purple mark of his old tribe on his scarf thing. Would be cool to see a flashback on what exactly happened to the tribe

...also it's weird to see Ranach without scars. I wonder if we'll ever find out how he got them

"Hi I'm Ranach and I'm here in part because though your brother miraculously survived all that, he had the misfortune of stumbling to me. I emotionally abused and manipulated him until i eventually fed him to the night beasts"

I wonder, if Ibereon and Rogio will ever meet each other? and how they will react, when they do... Im really interessted in how and why it happened to Ibereons Tribe and i really like the little touch, that Ibereon still has that blue tribe color on his scarf!

What I find most interesting is as far as I remember the reason many tribes are scared/hateful of Jahla being a "wolf" is because of the "wolf" that destroyed the northern tribe and wrecked havoc on the land. (Before the Flameguard incident) So.. to find out it wasn't an Aki at all that did that, but a Spirit Ritual gone wrong really shows that even in this world conclusions are made without evidence. Not that we didn't see that already of course.

No in the last second to last panel, the way he looks at Rogio

Aaah I knew they were bros!

Anonymous

Now that you mention it his face ones look really close to cat ones but I doubt that he ever met the cats up north

Anonymous

Honestly it’s weird. In that moment it looks like to me like he’s showing genuine empathy.

Hmmm...to me they always looked like knife scars. I wonder though if they come from a punishment or the rebellion or something completely different... There are many possibilities

The lone wolf pillaged several tribes in the north. The spirit iberon is talking about only destroyed his tribe. Ninmah also mentioned that the lone wolf never killed anyone during the pillaging, while this spirit killed almost an entire tribe
