That smile Rhov XD And Axi, you need to know the other side of the story as well. ;)

That smile couldn't fool a blind. Rhov my boy, you must work on your pokerface or tell the truth before Axi becomes even more suspicious (if she isn't already).

Spiritstrike

Feaf did a good job pushing Rhov aside like that to remind him that he's not being subtle right now. The minute he heard the word "wolf" and the gender, his heart looked like it soared over Cloud Nine. Axi getting really suspicious by Rhov's questions now.

Anonymous

I don't think rhovs questions alone were that suspicious. She doesn't know why he was surprised, itd be natural to assume fear or apprehension when asking about if they'll encounter the "wolf" I know Axi is already suspicious of Rhov but..... shrug. Here nor there. Just thoughts.

I don't like Axi.

I'm honestly starting to dislike Axi a bit, she jumps to conclusions way too quickly and doesn't even try and learn the other side of the story. I understand her job likely carries a whole lot of pressure, but I feel a guild leader shouldn't be this prejudiced and judgemental of others, as it can lead to clouded judgement. I dunno, she just appeared to speak so highly of the Matriarch when she was talking to Ronja, so a part of me feels that she should start trusting her judgement a bit more, especially if she respects her as much as her first impression gave.

I love Rhov’s smile!!

I really hope that Rhov goes by the Primeval Steppe

i fully agree! i am trying very hard to like her because i love her designs and i think the character has amazing potential, but her going along with the "big bad evil wolf" thing right away especially based off how highly she spoke of the matriarch makes me feel like she is way too focused and falls way too easily for any and all prejudices, same with Rhov honestly, she doesn't know his story at all, however just decides to mistrust and not like him at all, honestly sometimes acting downright hostile, even if Fjordor AND her (seemingly) close friend feaf both vouch for him. Seems to be a thing she has issues with, she supposedly trusts the matriarch, fjordor and feaf, but as soon as a rumour or a prejudice comes up, she immidiately throws that aside and never seems to give anyone the benefit of the doubt, which rubs me all the wrong ways. Being so judgemental about everything and everyone is not a very attractive or likeable thing and right now it is her biggest characteristic sadly. Being mistrusting? I get that. But if you trust people that vouch for someone and you don't know the full story, why not at least give someone the curtesy of explaining their side/giving them the benefit of the doubt. Makes me think she may have a past trauma related to trust, she made her mind up so quickly about Rhov, with nearly no info and others vouching for him, makes me feel like there's more to him that reminds her of a trauma perhaps. Still no excuse tho.

I think Feaf would take this chance to have a talk with Rov on this story, and I agree with the comments here, Axi seems to let her own emotions and perception controlling the judgement, as we know that story about Jahla is pretty one sided. Axi is just one of the many who are the elements of conflict to this incident, so I wonder when it will break out, especially there is a link between Jahla and the matriarch, and I think it must be very hard for others to know that fact.

CorruptAngel

100% agreed. Also, imagine Axi’s reaction when/if she finds out that the Matriarch that she respects so much is, in fact, a wolf. XD

I completely agree here, but I guess to play devil's advocate the only other "wolf" story we heard was a wolf who basically destroyed an entire tribe and wreaked havoc upon the whole continent. I don't remember how long ago that was in the story but maybe it personally affected Axi. I am hoping once they hit Meteor and find that Ronja has allied WITH Jahla that *maybe* there will be some thoughts towards getting both sides. Once they reach MT I doubt it can be contained that Rhov knows Jahla personally.

I actually feel a little sad for Feaf. I think the time is going to come soon where she will lose Rhov living with them and he will go live in Havenreach. With how much time has passed I see one of two things happening with Rhov and Jahla. Either Rhov stays, leaves the guild and becomes Jarl of Havenreach or I actually see Jahla and Rhov agreeing their lives have gone in different directions and amicably seperating but staying friends and family. I don't think Eopei will mind Rhov (or Feaf) leaving as she would be helping her ally gain more members and that allows them to be closer to the capital.

Looks like she didn't learn a thing after her talk with Lahmina about accepting Rhov into the guild. I mean I completely understand why she distrusts someone with such a history, but if her highly praised matriarch openly accepted this "wolf" and the tribe of her best friend is now allies with them I would at least want to find out the other side of the story. Especially since Flamegarde doesn't seem to be the most open and welcoming tribe to begin with after what Rhov mentioned earlier.

WolfieYote

Bruh Axi is so judgemental. I am starting to dislike her personality a bit xD I do want tl see her face once she figures out matriarch is literally a wolf. At least Feaf is a good girl uvu. I mean Axi seems kinda like a spoiled brat at the moment ^^` - like chill girl, you don't know the other side of the story. So.

I would like to see Rhov and Jahla reunion, they finally could straighten up their relations (and decide to be togheter or split up and move on, since the both of them seems to have crush on others), but on the other side I would love to see Rhov meeting his brother, Roamer and Ronja with her daughters, so I hope that finally he will countinue the route with guild. Btw, that smile! It cannot be more obvious, that he's hiding something, so I quite understand Axi's suspicions.

Anonymous

I think it's understandable though, since a life was taken away. I feel for both sides

Anonymous

You have to understand that she doesn't know who this is. It's like hearing that your friend was murdered, and instead of the murderer being punished, they were patted on the back and given many gifts despite their crime.

WolfieYote

I'm literally just saying what anyone else are saying if you read them lol

WolfieYote

It'd not though. She's a leader she's supposed to not judge one side without knowing the other. Also it isn't a friend so that doesn't make sense 😂

Anonymous

I agree with you Laark. It's still a life that was taken away(With many experiences and close bonds. They were a parent, sibling, etc...), and that individual that took it away was given many gifts and pardoned without any consequences. I'd be furious, wolf or not.

Anonymous

This is a really touchy subject since many of us relate to this situation, not exactly, but it's very close. Like I said, wolf or not, the death could have been prevented. There were many other ways to stop the attack without killing.

Yeah id love for Feaf to push back on that, like asking Axi if she trusts the matriarch or is starting to have soured feelings to her. Feelings do change, itd be nice to see some dialogue flushed out on axis feelings
