This took an interesting turn.

If he joined them to look for his family, it’s not that weird that he wants to be with the little part he did found. She thought they would mean as much as the family he is looking for?

Patience, Rhov. Just a few more tribe visits til you meet part of your family. And the newest additions :3

AmnesiaMoons

This is going to mirror Jahla. Only he needs to realize, she loves her homes, Rome didn't love his. This is an interesting parallel. Not to mention try are BOTH having some newish feelings for their new friends. When they do unite, it's going to be heartbreak.

Leave her haven and her family for Rhov? I wonder how many tribes they have visited so far. Have none of them mentioned the recent happenings of "the red wolf"?

Spiritstrike

Oh dear. Rhov asking Feaf if she wants to come with him? How could she leave them?

This'll be an interesting scene to look back on once Rhov isn't the only one out of the loop on what's happening with the other young adults of asmundr lol

Someone probably will mention the "red wolf" when they reach flameguard. They're next after this lol.

I mean, I don't know why she's surprised. He's choosing his family over a new tribe. Yeah, he's made new friends there and has gotten to learn about their culture but he still wants to be with the people he loves. And honestly Rhov looks...pretty uncomfortable there as well? Like not because he's the only dog there but because he's around people he doesn't really know even if they've been nothing but king to him. I'm really confused with why Feaf thought he'd want a home there when he's constantly been talking about missing his family. Also, don't know if Feaf wants to leave her own home for Rhov so I'd completely understand if she said no.

She was so hurt when he lied to her about why he was joining Shiverfall in the first place. I don't get the surprise from Feaf. I can understand her being sad that she could be losing a friend but like you said, she should have seen this coming. He made very clear from the beginning that his mission was to find his family. BUT, he did lead her on. Asking her to spend the night with him and flirting with her. They're both going to end up hurt in the end I think.

I think what Feaf wanted to say was "Don't I mean more to you", that she's maybe let her feelings slip in despite how clear Rhov has been. Maybe it is a good time for her to take a new adventure though. Shiverfall is her home and paradise but she gets older too and maybe is ready for a new experience, and wants it to be with rhov even though she knows his stance. This conversation will definitely age funny as soon as they hit the Meteors lol

Sorry to be nit-picky, but if you’re still wanting grammar corrections, I’m pretty sure that Feaf’s dialogue in the first panel should be, “weren’t you?” at the end of her question, and not, “didn’t you?” And then Rhov should either reply, “I was…”, “yes I was…”, or even just simply, “yes…”. The words “didn’t” and “did” don’t really make sense in this context, especially since “you were” was already used in the beginning of Feaf’s question to Rhov (had she said something like, “Did you hope that you would find your family here?” then Rhov responding, “I did…” would make sense, for example). And on the subject of the page itself, I feel for Rhov, but I really hope he doesn’t decide to just leave the guild and go back to Midnightgarde! As others have mentioned, Flamegarde is next (who will likely mention “the Red Wolf”), and then isn’t it Meteor Tribe after that? Which of course will reveal the where-abouts of Ronja and Roamer, as well as Ronja’s new pups which Rhov has yet to meet! And whether or not Axi’s guild visits Whispervale (I can’t remember), I’m sure Ronja will tell Rhov where Keirr is at, as well as Jahla too, if Rhov isn’t able to figure it out on his own, after they visit Flamegarde (speaking of which, will Axi’s guild visit Jahla’s new tribe, or will that be the other guild’s responsibility?). I understand why Rhov is discouraged, but he just has to have patience and stick it out for a little bit longer. On the other hand, though, if he really does decide to leave and go back to Midnightgarde, of course we know that Roamer isn’t there anymore, but Fjorder will likely be able to direct him to Meteor Tribe, where Roamer and Ronja are, at least. So unless there is an unforeseen twist coming (I hope not), I think Rhov will be reuniting with at least some of his family, very soon, regardless of whether he stays with the guild, or goes back to Midnightgarde… ^^

Flamegarde is next, then Ravencrest, Meteor and Whispervale if I remember the route on the map right. Havenreach is on the other guild's route. So technically if Flamegarde won't mention the Red Wolf, it's still possible Ravencrest will. And after that he'll meet Ronja and Roamer and will find out anyway. And like you said, Fjordor knows about Ronja and technically Jahla so he could tell Rhov as well. But I hope he stays long enough with the guild to reach the Meteors. Like, most he did in the timespan he mentioned was waiting around til the guild sets out again and now after visiting just the second tribe on the list he's about to give up? The rest of his family could be living in the next tribe for all he knows. It would be stupid to give up so early after waiting so long for the trip to start.
