Am I the only one considering the possibility that that dog was not speaking only of their tribe, but all the other tribes as well? As the land he reffers to might be Aedra as a whole and not only Flamegarde's territory. The Matriarch might not be very tolerant with the "wolves" and all the other tribes might have warnings to kill the Akiulfr because they're considered dangerous. That might explain why this tribe attacked without reason, and the Nova they killed might just have warned the tribe to Thakir and Jahla's presence

So uh. Am I the only one here who kind of feels strongly that they mistook the Akis for Shield Wolves?

Holy. Fuck. Does this mean... Shield Wolves, or perhaps a different kind, have been sent to multiple different planets such as Earth and Aedra? What if Shield Wolves evolved from Aedra somehow? What if that is why Jahla always thought she felt like she belonged somewhere else? Or perhaps Rohgir introduced the other Aki’s, and it didn’t go the best and that’s why Rohgir is so protective and secluded and said that other dogs are against the wolves?? He’s full of secrets and I think something happened that he’s not speaking of. To be on a far away island and super protective and talking bad about the dogs of Aedra, I think it makes sense.

"This land is not your to take" I wonder where that come from, that they think the 'wolves' will take over the land. Liulfr was here before? Or has Rohgir done something to cause this as he thinks the Akis are superior and made other think they will take over? And poor Thakir... That Cinnapup I just wanna hug. Adn seems both Flamegarde dogs survived?

I just realized that the reason they're so aggressive is probably because of Rohgir. I wonder how many tribes he has met since he generally describes the Aedra dogs as plundering, raiding, abusing and discriminating (pg 390). I completely forgot about this 😱
