Wise words, Jahla. She’s already grown so much in such a short amount of time, I can tell. Though I still wish she’d mention Rhov, specifically (he is her mate, after all, and they’ve been through so much together, I refuse to believe it was just “teenage lust”, like some do; there was more to their relationship than that), I think her words here prove what I was hoping — that she has thought back on her last conversation with him, and understands his point of view, now.

I'm glad Jahla comes to understand her mate's questions and such. Hope she mention him soon though. She has grown in a way I hoped she would. Like Ronja said to Roamer: being away from family turned out to be good for them.

Now I wonder what the others from Adrea will think of them and how this will go down with Rhov. Not in terms if there's a love triangle and such but just the fact that they did fight when they had different views in the Gods and also being brought to this island. And how Thakir will react to him, knowing that she has a mate that isn't from their generation :3

I don't think she's trying to hide him (not that you implied that), I think she just isn't sure yet of Thakir's feelings about the interspecies thing and maybe wants to get to know him better
