Probably not the best way to start this convo. Fúss doesn´t look so happy .__.

That last expression of Fuss...I'm not sure but it feels like it does not promise good and he is about to oppose Ronja with this decision. I hope he understands after Ronja explains but now this bit too direct start of conversation can be taken just as Ulfr said things would be. Hopefully Fuss listens and understands.

On the 4th panel.. aren't Ronja's front paws too short? I dunno why, but she reminds me here more a basset than herself o_O

kique

Oh that´s the perspective she´s in, notice the space between Fuss´ paws, since Ronja is viewed from a closer perspective we can´t see all of her paws, but they are also spaced further apart. The paw of the hindleg for example would be placed underneath the black border, and the front paw in a similar position.

Retroleem

I don't think she started that off the best way. It's more like she is taking command from Vandi rather than it being of her own choice. Plus Fuss' expression... please stay a good marshmallow dog...

I hope Fuss tells her what he saw happen!

I hope Fúss listen to all Ronja says, and say his mind about things. As it's just Ulfr and not all the males Ronja and Vandi mean. And they can come to an agreement what to do. As Ronja says she agrees with Vandi, but chose to talk to the male Fúss as well (even if it was Vandi's suggestion). She want to do good for the tribe, females and males.

Hmm. Fuss is a pretty attentive guy and thoughtful guy. He noticed one of the bulls wasn't doing so well, so he separated him from the herd to make sure he's fed. Then he noticed that although Ronja is making small talk, she had something on her mind. I believe he'll at least listen to what Ronja has to say and perhaps give his input, from his perspective as a male. Given the look he gave Ulfr two pages ago, he definitely doesn't agree with the Lead Hunter's thinking. Though he might be conflicted about him being exiled even if he threatened the Viscountess in front of the other males (but behind her back). This conversation could go either way.

I hope this goes well on both ends. After the look Fuss gave when Ulfr stormed off, after everything Ulfr said, it's obvious he'll be trouble and Fuss knows it. I can see him trying to hold Ronja to her words, just for the sake of avoiding hypocrisy and losing the trust of all of the males. And not because he wants to keep Ulfr around, but because losing the trust of the males if she were to go back on her word like that, would mean very bad things for the tribe.

Silver Huskey

Agreed. And Ronja knows this as well, which might make the conversation easier to have. Hopefully. XD

I really hope so. xD I'm rooting for at least one male besides old Galti to be on her side completely by the time Ranach gets back. She might need it

Spiritstrike

I don't think the convo was off to a good start...

Akela74

Fuss expression, he doesn't look .. happy. Hope he will listen her at least ! Fjall is beautiful :3

Morgran

Fuss doesn't look happy. I wonder what his answer will be?

You would think threatening an above rank would be worth exile though. I can't imagine the last jarl not trying someone to the rock over making a threat against his life. As long as she makes it about that, and not holding Jonna, then she won't be going against her words. The only issue might be that the males stop talking to Fuss because he told her. And of course, the risk of Ulfr saying screw this and attacking her.

Please don't make this a "he said, she said, misunderstandings" like some sitcom drama. -_-

I'm hoping instead that she asks Fuss to take Ulfr with him on moving the herds or something. So that he can learn from Fuss. That would be an effective action to help things become a little more cohesive

Silver Huskey

My biggest fear is an attack from Ulfr. Given how broken the tribe is, it's ripe for a coup. If he thinks about it, what does he really have to fear? None of the other females can help, and may be able to fight off the other males.
