From what we've seen from Naeva so far, she's a very empathetic and sensitive character when it comes to others. I think it very much makes sense that she's the one who would want to empathise with her father and doesn't quite understand the severity of his crimes. She probably feels that killing him is a severe fate without giving him a chance, as far as she is aware. She unfortunately does not have the experience yet to know that not everyone deserves that kindness. On top of that while she looks like Ronja a lot physically, her coat is the closest to Ranach's out of all her Siblings (and also stands out more amongst them) and she might feel more of a connection to him because of that as well, but that's just my own speculation haha.
