TW Update #58 - Upside the Head (Patreon)

'Lo all! A week later than I would have liked, but then its been an educative span for me as I quickly realized how much work I'd taken on for this 'design your thrall' scene, tried to speedrun it, and promptly failed even with said extra week!

Still, we learn. And there's not nothing to show for it- a version of the model is pretty much done, I just don't have the UI for it to be interactable outside the editor yet, nor the text and code the flags that will do stuff like 'this outfit will make her feel more objectified' and such. Plus there's some shading errors. Plus model issues to be resolved in the future when more expertise is acquired.

However, to give y'all a looksee, check the attachments for the webm, where I spend some time testing a bunch of the shaders, swapping hair out, changing colours, gags, etc.

It did make me realize though that focusing down on trying to do one big thing is just no way to run this place. It's no fun for anyone to be waiting weeks for content, especially if I misjudge how long the content'll take to make like this time. Better to diversify a little and not focus down on one thing that's going to take a long time; because if it's going to take a long time either way, then I may as well take some of that time to work on a project where the updates can be more consistent.

The above images were a bit of a test of that, that I've been doing over the last 5 days. They needed to be done for the scene anyway, and have led me to think of reviving some small-form content even beyond the hunger games images I do.

Currently I'm managing consistent streams around about 10-10.30am BST on my Picarto on this sort of art, so feel free to check it all out if you're able!

Anyway, I'll keep you posted over the next week or so as to what it is I end up doing; in the meantime I'll be continuing on this scene and
