Weekly Check-In (11/21/23) (Patreon)

I know this is a touch late, but in my defense, I've been really busy this past week.  So, please forgive me for forgetting about the check-in.

Anyway, as I said, I've been super busy, what with the launch of Path of Dragons and keeping up with the normal workload.  So, without further ado, let's hop into the check-in!

In Death: Genesis news, I'm still plugging along.  I finished the A-story of book 7, and for the past few days, I've been working on the detailed outline of book 8 (finished today, and it's really exciting stuff).  In addition, I've been putting together the B- and C-story chapters for book 7.  Once I finish those, I get to experience the joy of editing it all together while fixing some mistakes and making some adjustments for book 7's A-Story.  So, Death: Genesis is going to have a busy month!  Should be fun, though.

Regarding Mistrunner - I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed in the story's sales numbers.  They're fine and all, but I was hoping they'd be better.  Hopefully, they'll pick up when book two releases in January.  In any case, I've just finished editing book three and sent it to the publisher.  So, I can focus my full attention on making the big finale as awesome as possible.  And going by what I've outline so far, I think it will be.

I should once again point out that, while book 4 is the end of that particular story, I fully intend to come back to Mira and company in the future.  So, keep a lookout for that.

And finally, I want to talk a bit about Path of Dragons.  It's doing extremely well, and it reached the Rising Stars list on Royal Road after only six days.  It's since climbed into the middle of that list, and I anticipate that it'll keep going all the way to the top.  If you'd like to help in that endeavor, I would ask that you head over to the story's page HERE and favorite, follow, rate, and/or review.  Every additional follower, favorite, or rating I get helps immensely with visibility, and I'd appreciate any support you all can give!

Regarding the story itself, it's been pretty well received, and I'm excited to see how everyone reacts to how the story's going to develop.  Remember, the chapters for the entire first book will be available here by 12/10.  So, less than a month away.  But I've got a lot of fun stuff planned for book two as well (though I've only written about a third of it so far).  Anyway, I hope you're all enjoying everything so far, and I hope you'll continue to do so.
