Weekly Check-In (6/4/23) (Patreon)

Hey all!  Long time no see.  Sort of.  I feel like I'm just starting to emerge from a dank cave of editing, and I can't help but be blinded by the light of day.  Or something like that.  It's nearly three in the morning, and I'm kind of hopped up on caffeine, so I hope my eccentricities will be excused.

Anyway, in addition to spending most of this week editing Mistrunner 2, I've been steadily plugging away at Death: Genesis 5 (I should finish it up this month!).  And I finally got to some stuff I've been waiting to put on paper (or in the word processor) for a while.  I'm eager to see what you all think of it when it gets published.

As for Mistrunner, I'm almost done editing.  Maybe two more days, and then I'll submit it and move on to outlining book three.  It's taken a bit longer than I thought it would, but that's mostly because the book's denser than I thought.  In any case, it's coming together very well, and I have some really cool ideas for what comes next.  

Regarding Heretic (my third project, for the uninitiated), I didn't get to work on it much this week because of the hectic editing schedule, but I'm steadily drawing closer to the point where I can start writing.  So, I'm excited about that.  Even then, it'll probably be a couple of months (I'm targeting October) before I start releasing chapters.  So, keep an ear to the ground on that one.
