Another week down, and hopefully many more to go!

This week was a bit of a rollercoaster for me because I ended up having multiple doctor's appointments.  Those of you who've reached a certain age can probably empathize with the process of going in for an annual physical and then being told that, regardless of the fact that you feel okay, your bloodwork says that you are almost literally falling apart a little bit at a time.  Oh, and that one nagging paing/annoyance that you do tell your doctor about?  Yeah - that one is completely inexplicable and is probably in your head.  It's exhausting and makes me question the entire profession sometimes.

Anyway...

Podium has made a ton of progress on the third book of Death: Genesis (to be released in July; keep an eye out for pre-orders around the time when book two releases in March).  I shared the first version of the cover (at least the first one I liked), but there have already been some adjustments to it.  I'll drop it as soon as it gets to the final phase of its development.

I'm plugging away at the last twenty percent of the fourth book right now, and I just passed a pretty significant turning point in the story.  So, I'm eager to see how everyone reacts to something that's been building for quite some time.  I expect to finish the book up within the next two weeks.  After that, we'll be headed into a new era for the story, and I couldn't be more excited.

In Mistrunner news, I've been in touch with the art team, and I think we have a solid direction for the cover design.  I don't know if they've actually hired an artist yet, but given how well the covers for Death: Genesis have turned out, I don't think we have anything to worry about.  They knocked it out of the park every time up to the plate so far, so I have no problem trusting that they'll do it again.

In addition, we've started talking about narrators.  I have my "dream" casting, but I don't know if she'll be available or not.  Either way, this is what Podium does best, so they'll almost assuredly get it right.  Fingers crossed for my number one, though.

Finally, we're quickly headed toward the end of the first Mistrunner book (should be next week unless my chapter count is wrong), so I'm anxious to see what everyone thinks about it.  At some point in the near future, I intend to increase the Patreon benefit as well, so keep an eye out for that.

Anyway - that's pretty much it for this week's update.  So, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, shoot 'em my way.  I'll do my best to respond as quickly as possible!
