I thought I'd scheduled this post to drop yesterday, but for whatever reason, it kind of glitched out.  Either way, better late than never, I guess...

In Death: Genesis news:

Book one has been extremely well-received, and it continues to exceed my expectations (in terms of its rankings).  I still can't see hard numbers, but the book's dipped into the top 2000 a few times, and it's holding steady between the 2000-3000 range.  Given that there are millions of books on Amazon, that seems pretty good to me (and my publisher's seemed happy with it as well).  So, thank you all for your support.  I hope we can continue along this path of success.

As far as the current storyline, we're a little more than halfway through at this point (I'm writing the final arc of book four right now), and I'm really excited to see how you all enjoy the book over the next few weeks.  Everything that's come before has been working toward this, and I'm understandably pumped about it finally getting to you all.

In Mistrunner news:

As I've mentioned here before, Mistrunner has been picked up my publisher, Podium (with a release date somewhere in the August 2023 range).  I also made a post a few days ago announcing that I've finished the first draft of the first book, so I've spent the past few days editing.  But as I read through it, I'm continuously surprised at how well everthing has fit together.  It's a cool world, and I think it has tons of potential going forward.  Either way, over the next three weeks, you'll see the conclusion of the first book.  I hope you all enjoy it as much as I've liked writing it.

In completely unrelated (to anything here) news...Alabama won their bowl game yesterday, so I'm still in a pretty good mood.

Finally, I hope you'll all have a happy New Year and a great 2024!
