Weekly Check-In (8/6/2022) (Patreon)

I think this week was pretty awesome, not least because I was finally able to release the new artwork.  I wish I could release the artist's name, but he wanted to remain anonymous for now.  The story's coming along nicely (I really enjoyed writing the Myconid caves), and I'm eager to show everyone what Abby's getting up to (next week).

I've been thinking about growth, lately, and I think I made a mistake when it comes to that.  That's not surprising, considering this is still all very new to me.  But the good thing is that I can fix it.  So, I think I'm going to abandon the whole idea of linking the Patreon rewards to patron growth.  Instead, I intend to increase the number of chapters available (and my publishing schedule) according to time.  My goal is to have 50 chapters (ahead of what's on Royal Road) available by November, so you can do the math about how often I plan to increase the benefits.  The benefits associated with the Boss Tier ($5) will increase as well, though it'll cap out a little lower.
