First of all, I wanted to say thank you to everyone here.  We've already passed the first goal (100 Patrons), and we're forging ahead to the second (200).  With reaching the first goal, I've increased the benefits for both the Boss and Monarch tiers of Patrons to the following:

Boss: 10 Chapters Ahead of Royal Road (up from 5)

Monarch: 15 Chapters Ahead of Royal Road (up from 10)

When we reach the second goal (again, 200 Patrons), I'll increase the benefits (by 5 more chapters) again.  I'm sure we'll get there in time!  Thanks again for everyone who's made our current progress possible.

Okay - now that that's out of the way, let's get this show on the road.  I don't expect a ton of responses here, but if anyone has any questions or comments about Death: Genesis or future projects I might have planned, here's the place to post them.  I'll be around for a few hours today (checking periodically while I write), so let me know what you're all thinking!

Wouldn't most people have the "first blood" achievement Zeke has? I understand some people picking up a tool around them to help them kill their first monster, but considering they arrive without a weapon, wouldnt a lot of them get this achievement? Also....I started skipping over the tangents of the MC's thoughts when he thinks about his past life for about the last 20 chapters. They all seem to be saying the same thing: his father was an abusive dick, because of that MC learned to be persistent and handle pain well. MC liked baseball and had a rough childhood that got worse after the injury destroyed his promising baseball career that he focused on in lieu of other normal teenage activities. Repeating it every 3 chapters got old pretty quick....just my 2 cents though. Otherwise I'm enjoying the story and you seem to be improving in writing quality as the story progresses which is a great sign. Keep it up!

I understand your criticism. Addressing them, first: there's more going on under the Framework's hood than just what it lists in the descriptions. So, there were other requirements that had to be met before people are eligible for that title. To your comments about Zeke's memories, it's meant to mirror a real-life phenomenon that occurs when people are left in isolation for long periods of time. Most get extremely introspective. It will fade as Zeke makes his way into the world (and is around people again). I admit that it was probably heavy-handed, but I stand by it as necessary (both for backstory and to convey the tone I wanted early in the story). Thanks for your criticism, and I'll keep it in mind going forward.
