Weekly Check-In (8/11/24) (Patreon)

So, I haven't done one of these "weekly" check-ins in a couple of weeks, which begs the question of whether or not I should change the name. Whatever the case, the last couple of weeks have been pretty big. First of all, Death: Genesis 6 briefly hit #1 in a couple of categories on Amazon, and even if it didn't stick for more than a couple of hours, I think that's pretty awesome. Second, Path of Dragons finally passed the 10,000 Followers mark on Royal Road (with more than 6.25 Million Views). And third, we finally finished book 4 of Path of Dragons on Royal Road. So, it's been a great couple of weeks, and I'm hoping things continue to go well!

Now, on to individual news:

In Mistrunner news, we're fast approaching the release of the third and penultimate volume on August 27. Some of you might have noticed that I removed those chapters from here, which was sadly necessary. They're only a couple of weeks away from hitting Amazon, though, so hopefully it won't be too irritating for those who haven't read it yet. You can find the listing HERE.

After that will come Death: Genesis 7 on Nov. 5. So, be aware that I'll be removing those chapters in a couple of months. With the current content, we're plugging along on book 10, and we're getting close to another ascension. When that happens, we'll be on the downslope of the overall story, which is planned for about 15 total books. Obviously, if things take a little longer, I'll keep going until I'm satisfied, but that's the plan for now. I hope everyone enjoys the ride!

And with Path of Dragons, we're coming up on the end of book 5, after which we'll plunge ahead into book 6 and the end of the Trial of Primacy arc. I think it's going to be a pretty awesome conclusion, so I'm excited to see what everyone thinks of it. Also, you'll get to read it sooner rather than later, because I'm still planning on doing the accelerated month in September. We can cover a lot of ground with two chapters a day, so I hope you're all looking forward to that.

Be aware that I intend to do another accelerated month sometime right before the Amazon release of book 1 (next May), so you can look forward to that as well!
