Whew.

This was a busy week for me! I've been working up a storm as I try to get ahead of the publishing schedule, and I've finally managed to build up a little breathing room. Which is a good thing, because in September, I'm going to do another ACCELERATED MONTH (for Path of Dragons)! This time, I'm shooting for three chapters a day, but to do that, I've got to build quite a backlog before then. I've made some headway, and I think I'm on track. But I'll be keeping my nose to the grindstone over the next couple of months as I try to make this thing work. In addition, I intend to do a third accelerated month in March of next year. The reason for that will become obvious in a moment.

Regardless, things are going really well, and I'm very happy with the state of both stories right now. I just hope I can keep up the quality!

Now, moving on to individual story news:

The biggest news concerning Path of Dragons is that I just received confirmation of the release schedule for Kindle/Audible. Here's what I have right now:

Protector of the Grove (book 1) - May 6, 2025

Whispers of the Wild (book 2) - September 2, 2025

Untitled Book 3 - January 6, 2026

I have no news on book four, but I assume it'll probably be around May of 2026. I know this schedule is a little slower than most books in the genre, but you have to remember that we'll be publishing Death: Genesis books in between those. So, I'm looking at 4-5 books released each year, which I think is a pretty good pace. it also allows Podium (my publisher) to ensure the quality we expect, especially with the audiobooks (remember, we got Eric Jason Martin to narrate Path of Dragons!). Either way, I'm happy enough with the schedule, and I hope you'll all support the books when they release.

Regarding Death: Genesis, remember that book 6 is coming next month (July 2), and it contains about 35k words of new material. I hope you'll all check it out!

I know that last week I floated the idea of putting Death: Genesis on hiatus for a few weeks, but I think I'm moving past that idea. At most, I might drop down to a three-chapter-a-week schedule, though I'm hesitant to even do that. More likely, I'll just buckle down and make it work! If nothing else, I have no issue putting the hours in.

But that's just about it for this week. Big news on those release dates, I think, and I'm excited about it. As always, thank you for your support, and if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, let me know via the comments, Patreon's messaging function, or on Discord. I'll try to respond as quickly as I can.

Thanks again!

I mean if you need to stop death genesis for like a month to get the juices flowing again there nothing wrong with that
