This Is The Last Time (Patreon)

CATC 3 has taken some unexpected turns, and the lack of patience people has is really starting to get to me. It is annoying to have people tell ME as the creator what I need to do and how to do it, when they have NO IDEA just how trying doing this stuff is. Behind the scenes, this shit isn’t easy. I am doing audio, post editing, animation, lighting, story boarding, searching for/hiring voice actresses, ripping audio from multiple sources, searching for new audio, creating new audio, editing old audio, BY MYSELF. I am not a team, I am ONE PERSON. Whether it’s dealing with unexpected crashes, glitches in the renders, editing software malfunctioning, whatever...there are some things that CAN NOT BE CONTROLLED, and I have to deal with it all ALONE. With that being said, I will not do this again. All of that, plus the constant questions(which I don’t mind until they start to get assertive), pressure, negative feedback on delays I can’t help? Yeah, that’s too much for me. Enjoy CATC 3, because this is the absolute last time I do anything this big. Seriously. If this is how it is to be a creator of this type of content, I can see why so many good artists have left this community. It isn’t just stuff happening/being said on Patreon either, it’s pornhub, DA, Twitter, discord, and Ekas as well.

After completing one more commission(which won’t take nearly as long as CATC 3), I will be going back to the smaller, more frequent animations and posters. This entire process has been a lot, and normally I can handle that type of stuff, but that on top of all the other things mentioned has not made for a good time. Perhaps in the future I will change my mind, but in my current state? Absolutely not. Sorry.
