Portal Gun Is Complete!!!! :D (Patreon)

HELLO EVERYONE!!! IT IS COMPLETE!!! The portal gun is complete!!! wooohooo!!! and man is it awesome!!! it turned out better than could have hoped for :D I did have some tricky bits though when designing the model! One of the issues of my other electronic models is how to wire up all the positive and negative wires for the model but I found a solution! for this model, you use a breadboard to solder all the wires to! then using solder to connect all the wires together! :D The breadboard is so much better as it adds a much more solid place for all the wiring :D! This model has a few firsts too! this model uses silicone tubing for the pipes! and uses a PETG sheet to create the tube! :D

this model has a lighting-up barrel! tube! Top detail! and internal core!!!

it has 3 servos as well, 1 for each arm :D

the model can change colour from blue to orange

when you pull the trigger the LEDs flash white as if there is a blast of energy coming out the front of the model. The arms also open up :D

the model also has a cube hold mode! pull the bottom trigger and the arms will open up as the lights spark :D

the portal gun is such an iconic model and was a ton of fun to make, and it is so freaking cool pulling the trigger and watching the model fire!!! :D

i just wanted to say thank you to you guys! this one is so freaking cool! and I would not have been able to make it without you guys :D thank you! YOU ARE AWESOME! :D
