Hey guys!

Since the release of the demo 26 days ago, I've split time between reworking parts of the demo, learning how to animate, writing script, creating still renders, and promoting the game.  But this week I was able to spend most of my time on still renders.  So, even though I was working on the bar scene with a lot of characters and wonky lighting, leading to very long load and render times, I was still able to get rendering and postwork done on about 100 renders.  However, I'm still only about halfway through the scene, so it will continue to be my focus for next week.  The good news is that once I've finished with this scene, I'll be just about done with the two most complicated scenes in the release, and everything should move faster going forward.

I'm still not ready to predict/promise a release date for the full Part One, but my goal remains the end of August.

One thing I do want to mention is that while I'm releasing Part One in two separate releases (including the Demo), starting with Part Two each Part will be only one single release, so it will be at least a few months after Part One is released before Part Two is released.  I know that a lot of developers release monthly or every couple of months to keep their Patrons engaged, but Leaving DNA is a story that has to be told in a certain way for it to be the most impactful.  Particularly starting with Part Three, you'll begin to see why the structure and timing of each release is so important for this story.  And that will mean long waits between releases.

There's always a chance that any day a lawyer could knock on my door with an inheritance check for ten million dollars from the death of a long lost relative.  You never know, really.  And if that happens I'll quit my job and work on LDNA full time so I can knock these releases out faster than a teenage boy moving to close his browser tabs when he hears his mom coming down the hall.

In this week's preview image, Jamie shares a light-hearted moment with Armin while Rockford sips a whiskey at her left.

I really, really appreciate your support!
